So the Mewgaroo Hoodie is definitely an interesting product and has a great idea behind it. However like most things in life, it's not without its own flaws. The first thing is something you'll probably notice as a theme with some of the other reviews and that is the sizing is a little weird. I recommend you order it one or two sizes bigger than what you'd usually wear for hoodies. This is two reasons. One, the sizing is a bit different in Japan and two, you and your pet will need the extra slack and room provided by the larger sizes. That last point brings me to the next issue. This product was made for small cats and a very few select dog breeds so if you feel like your pet is too big then chances are they probably will be. Now on to my last issue. This hoodie is made with some cost cutting materials so if you plan on buying it, don't pay anything more than $75-$80 for it. I got mine for $56 (after shipping and handling costs). I personally find the material itself to be a little itchy for a light hoodie. So after reading all of that you probably think I wouldn't recommend it but actually I would. Didn't give it 3/5 stars for no reason. It's still a great idea and was definitely worth what I paid for it. If anything I'd say it's more like a 3.5/5. Right between, it's okay and I like it. The flawed choices made for the hoodie overall are really the only thing holding it back but the idea itself leaves room to a whole lot more potential than most gimmicky kind of products. I can see this exploding in popularity if it can overcome some of its shortcomings.

My wife loved this product. She loves her cats, and they beg to sleep on her. This pouch is a great way to make them comfortable while doing so. They like playing with the pom-poms as well. The cat ears on the hood and the paw prints on the palm gloves in the sleeves are silly additions, but if you can't laugh at the silliness of this entire concept, you're too serious to enjoy the fun it offers. Recommended purchase for any 'crazy cat lady' out there. Have the self-esteem to be happy in your life regardless of what others may think is weird. Love your cats and use this item to improve how you interact with them.

Everyone said to go bigger because its from Japan sizing is different. I got an XL because I have a large chest and it was a bit bigger than I needed. All the same I absolutely love this hoodie and so does my sphynx.

I recieved an Asian size XL mewgaroo in black and it fits great. Please note asian sizing runs small so you should always order at least 1 size larger than normal. (check measurments for best fit)It is very comfy for me and my cats. They love snuggling with me when I wear it. The hood on the black version in size XL DOES have cat ears, the hoodie strings with pom poms doubles as a cat toy and the sleeves have thumb holes with pink paw prints on the palms. (see photo) In addition to the 'kangaroo pet pocket' it also has a large pocket in front like a normal sweatshirt hoodie, (top closed, access to pocket from right and left).Only complaint is that though the outside fabric feels like a sweatshirt the inside doesn't have a soft fleece feel like most sweatshirts, it feels about the same as the outside, ie no lining.I am very happy with my mewgaroo, i do wish it was a bit cheaper though, I want more!!!
