Columbia Silver Ridge II Cargo Shorts

I purchased a pair of these Columbia Silver Ridge II shorts in a size 38" waist and 10" inside leg. Having tried them on I can say they are a 'comfortable' fit. However, I would definitely suggest you consider buying a size up from your normal waist size if you don't want a looser fit.The shorts are manufactured to a high standard, are lightweight and fold down to a very small size, great for holidays when suitcase space/weight can be an issue.With six pockets, one to rear, two to front, two side pockets one of which has a zip side pocket there are plenty of options for storing personal items. The front and rear pockets are mesh lined, but its a thick mesh, presumably to aid drying.In conclusion these are stylish shorts which can be worn anywhere.Highly recommended.

I ordered a 34 Long in black, but they turned up green! However, I liked the green so I kept them. They are very precise fit, I am 34 waist and these are bang-on, a little on the tight side, but I have probably out on weight over lockdown and at least I don't have to keep hitching them up. I have a 33 leg, these are 34 which is just right for walking boots, but would be too long for ordinary shoes. They are very lightweight and I would suggest Spring/Summer walking only. They are not water proof or water resistant at all, but they dry out very quickly, being so lightweight. Otherwise very comfortable with useful pockets and a belt included and I would recommend them.

Overall happy with these. Good pair of walking trousers. Plenty of pockets with a zip on one side for money/valuables and light weight. Conversion to shorts is easy and the legs are clearly labelled for reattaching. The only warning I’d give is to go for a size up from your usual size. I’m a 34 in trousers from other brands and these are definitely a bit snug.

Bought these for going on holiday as prefer to fly in trousers and wanted to use them as shorts too.Have found they are good enough quality so far, they are very light and they are great a wicking away sweat. Definitely a summer pair of trousers though as are thinner than others I've owned that have also been thick enough for autumn and spring.

Really well-cut shorts that are as comfortable climbing as on a bike. They dry incredibly fast after heavy rain but aren’t sweaty.Unlike others I didn’t find the lack of secure pockets a problem - the Velcro is good quality - and they have 2 back pockets where lots of ‘technical’ shorts and pants weirdly only have 1.Let down by poor stitching QC: after 2 months I’ve had to repair both back pockets and 1 inseam.

Just back from a walking holiday. Took 2 pairs of shorts, but wore these each day. Very comfortable, good fit and excellent value for the price. Delivered on date promised.

For 32 waist, size 32 is too tight. There is also no space for wallet, phone or keys. pockets are too small and short. For city walking, which might be called hiking these days, it's great if you get a super large size, for real hiking it's rubbish.

Ce pantalon est d'une grande légèreté et d'un très joli style, idéal en voyage ou randonnée par temps chaud. Seul hic, la taille ! Il faut donc compter au moins une taille de plus que l'habituelle pour rentrer dedans ! (Mon mari n'a pu y loger ses cuisses et fesses !).

I pantaloni sono qualitativamente perfetti, nulla da eccepire e soprattutto se in sconto sono un ottimo affare. Hanno anche una cintura integrata molto semplice da regolare (con fibbia in plastica, non mi fa impazzire ma comunque è molto utile e comoda).Consiglio di seguire il suggerimento che anche Columbia dà sul sito ufficiale: prendi una taglia sopra.Io di solito vesto 30w/32L.Ho preso una 32/34: perfetta in vita e sui fianchi, ma troppo lunga.Così l'ho cambiata con una 32/32 probabilmente la taglia migliore per me (1.90m 72Kg).Direi che forse è meglio NON scendere alla 32/30 anche perché con una 32L magari un orletto posso sempre farcelo nel caso.
