I'm very picky when I buy my hiking sandals because I wear them basically every day. After a lot of research, I went with this shoe because I like Teva's grip and reliability, and this design is a bit sturdier than their originals (plus the straps are adjustable). I definitely was not disappointed with this shoe, it seems to fit my feet like a glove. Arch support normally irritates me, but in these shoes it is mild enough that your feet are better positioned/supported without it pushing on your arch annoyingly. They are quite comfortable, too, and don't feel like they'll fall off at all. They are heavier than the average hiking sandal if you mind weight.

I ordered my usual size 8 but in men’s because they didn’t have birch colour in women’s size. I bought running men’s shoes in the past (they are the same as women’s most often just a bit wider).The only issue I had as soon as I put them on - the sole didn’t feel comfortable because of the anti slip mini square pattern (probably to prevent sliding foot when sweaty) or maybe the soles of my feet are way too sensitive.The strap on the heel at the back is surprisingly low but it’s not an issue actually.I assumed they will be much softer and cushiony, the straps are also somehow sharp and less comfortable but… having said all this I have decided to keep them!I am getting used to the sensation under my sole and I adjusted the straps so they are really loose and minimally dig with the sharp Velcro strap into my big toe so they are starting to feel comfortable.The sole is kinda just simple flat without any arch support but it’s bendable so when I walk it doesn’t stay flat as at the moment so popular “flatsoles” which I dislike.I love the colour and look of them and they go so well with most of my sporty/relaxed gear.I will definitely wear them a lot, and I would love them more if they were softer.

I have used it many time to walk around cities and for travelling. Very comfortable. One thing I didn't realise is if you have bunions it will hurt as it scraps against the rubber. My skin started peeling off and it was painful to walk it. my other foot that doesn't have a bunion is completely fine. When I wear socks or plaster over my bunion i have no problem wear it all day when travelling.

My husband loves these since buying them for him because all the other pairs of sandals we've bought (including expensive well known leather brands) have chafed, rubbed and been generally uncomfortable. These are light and easy on the foot with chock absorbing heels too so make walking distances a pleasure, being water 'shoes' is a bonus too! I first heard of and bought this brand for myself when having Achilles Tendonitis and swear by them, they were a Godsend and I now wear this brand most of the time for casual wear so when my husband wanted something comfy but durable that wouldn't be clumsy or chafe his feet immediately I set about finding some Teve's for him. Not once for praise normally, he has actually said that he is very pleased and happy with them despite initial reservations that they'd be no different or better than any other sandals he'd tried! Now he's a convert! We'd highly recommend them! they are light, very comfortable and durable...I'm still wearing a pair I've worn most days but purchased two years+ ago!

I was unsure on sizing due to mixed reviews so decided to size up (I am normally a 3/3.5 and ordered a 4) but I would definitely recommend sizing down if you have narrow feet as they are too big for me and I’m unable to wear them. Otherwise they are very light, seem comfortable and would be great for holiday.

Good for hiking and going outside for walking.

After owning Birkenstock, Columbia and other sandals, I'm very happy with the quality build of Teva sandals. The sandals are very comfortable as I have a high arch foot. The velcro is of very high quality and holds up even underwater.My foot is a size 10 and I ordered an 11 and that seems to be about a centimeter from my big toe. Although slightly larger than my foot that extra space has spared my toe from getting stubbed when I'm hiking in the bush, without impeding my natural gait.I have probably walked over a thousand kilometers in these and they're still going solid.Although a little bit pricier the build quality is very good and these are more of a heavy duty hiker sandal.I will be buying this brand again in the future and I recommend it.

I looooove my platform Tevas! This is my second pair and I’ve worn the first pair into the ground. I was so upset when I couldn’t find this on the Teva website. They had other color variations but I just couldn’t find a pair I really liked, so I Was so happy to see these on Amazon! They are honestly the most comfortable and supportive pair of sandals I’ve ever had, and it helps that I’m short so they add a bit of height for me 😅
