This mask is so wonderful and I enjoy it more than the previous warm compresses I used as it’s made of more comfortable materials and I like that it works via USB cable, so I can plug it when I travel unlike most of the previous compresses I used which had to be microwaved. Surprisingly, I’ve lodged in places with no microwave when traveling.I love that it has multiple temperature and time interval settings for my comfort.Most of all, I love and appreciate how responsive the manufacturer was when my product recently died. They actively worked with me to assess and troubleshoot. And when they realized that my product needed to be replaced and I was in warranty , they quickly sent me a replacement that arrived within a week. And they followed up with me to ensure that I received it.I highly recommend you purchase this if you suffer from dry eye syndrome caused by meibomian gland dysfunction!

I love the fact that I don't have to get out of bed in the morning or evening to heat a "moist heat" type mask in a microwave. I use a heated mask to treat and prevent dry eye, and though this mask could be a tiny bit hotter, I use setting 5, it works well. It's also convenient that I don't have to set a timer on another device because Dr Prepare has a built in timer that shuts off on its own, letting me know when time is up. I tried another USB mask brand, but it was stiff and bulky, didn't contour to my eyes and nose, didn't heat very well, and was more expensive. The Dr Prepare mask is so good that I'm ordering another one for my husband.

This is the only dry eye mask I’ve been able to find on Amazon with exact temperatures indicated on the control. I’m trying to follow a regimen of 111 -113 degrees which supposedly is ideal for dry eye therapy to run for 20 minutes. The control also has a nice timer. I had ordered a rechargeable one earlier but decided just plugging it in and getting immediate heat beats remembering to recharge.The cord is 5’ long, which is plenty long and very convenient for my bedside or my recliner. The mask seems to be made well. It is lightweight and firm but made from a comfortable fabric and a sturdy adjustable elastic band. It lays snugly around my eyes and lays over my brows and temples. I like this size to address sinus headaches, not too big and not too small.I decided I didn’t want a mask with Bluetooth. Just more to breakdown. I just use my Bluetooth headphones and it’s very relaxing.Now let’s see if it lasts. I sure hope so. I had a hard time finding a mask with all these features at a reasonable price.

Bought two masks on recommendation of doctor. Really worked well to soothe dry eyes. Comfortable and effective. I’d recommend. One of the masks stopped functioning outside the warranty period but the vendor was very constructive in finding a solution.

This is my third heated eye mask and the problem is that they’re comfortable and work fine for a very short while and then they break. I have to use this mask daily so I depend on them being reliable. This mask doesn’t fit as well as some others I’ve had because it doesn’t actually cup your eyes, it lays across them and you don’t feel as much heat unless you press it into your eyes. Not as comfortable as some others. I had hopes that even though it wasn’t as comfortable that it would be longer lasting. That wasn’t the case I bought this in December and it’s now January and it’s broken already. I have looked for what I might be doing at fault but all I’m doing is leaving it plugged in and not turned on for fear that pulling out the plug all the time might be what’s breaking it. Well that’s not the case because this round I left it in the plug, turned off when not in use, and it still didn’t last. Very disappointing and not a good value for the money. If they’re going to break all the time I’d rather have the little one that actually cups around your eyes and of course, brakes after a few weeks.

Even though this mask did not work for me, I gave it 4 stars because it was well made. It has a stiffer pad that does not conform to your face shape and my eyelids did not touch it so the heat was concentrated on my brow and cheekbones. If you have more prominent eyelids/eyeballs, this will probably be a good choice for you because your eyes will come into contact with the heating pad. It was not hot enough for me as a result of it not touching my eyes so there was no therapeutic benefit. If you are not sure if your eyes will work with this mask, put your flat hand over your eyes. If you eyelids touch your palm, then they will come into contact with the healing pad on this mask and it will be plenty hot. Just be aware that it is a corded mask so you have to have an extension cord or sit by a power outlet to use it.

I have extremely dry eyes. The eye doctor said that I needed to apply moist heat eye compresses twice a day. Wash cloths don't stay warm. The microwavable rice packs got too hot and sometimes melted.The DR. PREPARE USB eye mask has been the solution for my dry eyes. It comes with a small water spritzer bottle. I spritz the mask on the inside and turn it on to 104 or 113 degrees and set it for 30 minutes. (This is better than a sleep aid.) The temperature and timer are adjustable.Following my doctor's instructions, I gently rub my tear ducts to push out tear duct clogs. I do this after the DR. PREPARE mask has warmed the tear ducts. My dry eyes are so relieved. I also use a S brand eye ointment at night. When traveling, this mask may be plugged into an airplane USB port or international converter.Highly recommended! A friend purchased this for her sister traveling overseas with a need to help with Pink Eye treatment. I purchased this as a gift for another friend who has very dry eyes. She also uses the S brand eye ointment at night and likes the benefits of this eye mask.
