Cold Water Therapy Back Pad for Cryotherapy Unit, Post Surgery and Injury Recovery- Universal Pad Only for Circulating Cryotherapy Ice Machine for Large Areas Such as The Back, Abdomen, and Chest

If you want cold, this machine does it. I added some ice and water and let it rip. It circulated some very cold water that felt very very good on some very sore muscles. I just had a major back surgery so I had a lot of pain to deal with post op. This machine does the job. I actually threw out two machines that I had because the either didn't work or worked poorly. This was a great purchase!

Great size for hip and back! Very versatile.

The blue pieces meant to be held in to prevent water from spilling out fall out prior to even hooking up the product. As soon as I turn out the product, they fall out. Since I was already post op, I'm over here dealing with plumbing glue to try and get me through. I wouldn't give this product to an enemy. It doesn't work without modifications. And, these modifications have nothing to do with which brand of cryotherapy unit you have. It's because this was poorly built.

Works perfectly with the Berg polar ice machine

I bought a ice water system after answering a question on bed cooling systems. I put the pad under a thin blanket or towel, and then sleep on top of the cooling pad! It has worked great for over a month now. I find that if I use 2 liter bottles to freeze the water, I cut off the top 4" or so, and freeze the bottle with about 3 pounds of ice in it. When someone said I freeze water bottles, I was thinking that the water in the tank would not drop below about 50F. What a great idea! I actually like the water in the 50F to 60F temperature range, so it is not icy cold on my back, but will remove a lot of heat. 3 pounds of ice will last about 4 hours. Sometimes I run it on med speed, sometimes on high speed. Sometimes I add ice to cool the water to 32F, especially if I have been outside and now am hot. Sometimes I will use a thin blanket over the cooling pad and ice to run 32F water through the pad, and then sleep for about 6-8 hours, wake to all of the ice gone and the water at about 65F - 75F. This has been really nice, and allow me to run the thermostat a little warmer, still comfortable, and not sweating in bed!
