Seems to work well except I cannot mount my camera as the outer rubber casing to weatherproof it covers the magnetic area preventing magnetic use. After looking closely at the marketing photos on Amazon, none of them have the case on the back of the camera so they can be magnetically mounted. That means the display they are showing to customers would not be weatherproof. This deceptive practice must push this review down.

When I first hooked it to my Arlo cam it didn’t work. Moved it to a place with full sun…nope. Took cam and solar cell inside to check connectors when I realized there was a switch. My vision is very poor and I never noticed it before. Now my cam is working and recharging just fine, one month in.

Love this thing. It charges the camera overlooking my driveway. It’s the most active camera, and required the most frequent recharges. Since the install the camera’s battery has not dropped below 95 percent, and is almost always at 100.

So glad we found these, otherwise we would have had to purchase new cameras, which we did not want to do. Purchasing new batteries didn't make sense either since they really don't hold a charge.These are FANTASTIC!!!! They keep the batteries fully charged and doesn't take them long to recharge the batteries if we've had cloudy weather/rain for a few days.

Keeps arlo camera charged to 100% all day long

It took some thinking on how to attach the solar panel to my gutter. I ordered gutter attachments separately. The hardware that came with the panel didn’t work well due to poor quality so I used spare hardware from another unit. Once connected, my Arlo battery drained very quickly. Within 4 hours I went from 96% to 57%. I thought the panel was defective and was ready to disconnect it. I left it on another day of full sunlight and the system started to work. I just hope it keeps working like it supposed to.

The solar panel works and charges my camera. I no longer have to take it down and bring it in to charge. It comes with a weather housing case but when you put the case on, the camera will not attach to the magnet mount due to the thickness. You can't use a permanent mount either. I had to cut the back of the case out to mount the camera (or not use the case).

I’ve been pleasantly surprised. Cameras always at 100%, even now at 1am. I wish I had done this sooner. This camera gets a lot of traffic and it’s so nice not having to get the ladder out each month.

My original review was "I thought this would be a quick win for me to charge my Arlo camera. The camera doesn't detect the power from the panel and continues to drain. Waste of money." But after leaving the panel plugged in it actually does charge the camera! I have changed my rating from 1* to 3* to reflect that the product does actually work but in a way that the camera doesn't even realise it's being charged, so doesn't report it in the app. It really is a case of fit and forget, don't look for a charging status or check the battery charge level, it just works.

So far so good, working perfectly with my Arlo Pro HD cameras. The panel has a great internal battery that will charge first, once fully charged it will then top up the battery in the camera. Previously I would have to take the camera down to recharge the battery every 4-6 weeks due to a me having the settings on high plus have alot of motion at the side of my house, now with this panel I haven’t even had to charge the battery once via the mains.The real test will come winter time, but so far very happy.

This panel seems to do the job properly. It is winter and a few weeks since the installation and the camera battery is still at a 100%. So far so good I guess; we will se in the long run. The only negatives: you cannot charge the Panel Battery it seems (other than with the sun), and there's no way to know how much full is the Panel's battery.

Comes with a long code hence was very useful if you have a Arlo camera a little bit further than the code length available from Arlo PV charger panel. Got this as an alternative to Arlo PV and it is pretty good. Been using for almost a year without any issues.
