Works great.
Not the exact same thing that came with my old Weber Genesis, but it fits fine and once installed looks pretty much the same. It works perfectly. Looks like a genuine Weber replacement part. Directions are included, and it's easy to install.

Great replacement igniter for Weber grill
This igniter works great for our Weber propane grill. It was easy to install and lights the grill quickly every time. I'd been using a handheld butane lighter for years ever since the grill's original igniter failed. This replacement is a huge improvement.

Weber Genesis Top Dials/Starter
Installed 7/19/25. Pretty simple install. Works well. Came with two different igniter connections and instructions on how to identify which connection your Genesis requires.

Good replacement for Weber Spirit
Easy install and works great on my Weber Spirit 300 with the knows on the side (2010 model). Had to take off a star as the button is a bit sticky on the return after pressing but it still functions.

Replacement works with Weber Genesis e320 from 2005
My ignited stopped working and even with some fiddling with it, I could barely get it to spark once or twice. I decided to try this one and couldn't be happier. The instructions are excellent and very well-illustrated. It came with two different types of the spark part, I assume to fit different grill models, and also came with an extra puss button. It was very easy to remove the old one and install the new one. This one installs slightly different into the control panel, in that the old one snaped in and the new one has a threaded nut that secures it. It is somewhat of a pain getting the nut to line up with the threads and go on straight, as they are only on the two sides where the clips were on the old one (you'll understand once you see it.) Wish they had stayed with the clip design, but that also might be so that it fits more models. At any rate, it's installed and works much better than any of the original Weber ones did. The spark rate is twice as fast, so the grill lights faster. Other than that, it looks identical. It was a great value and got my grill up and running again, so I couldn't be happier. Highly recommended!!

Just spend the $20 to fix your grill
The original igniter for our 2010 Genesis grill broke after only one season; it wasn’t assembled properly, and we had other issues to deal with, so I just sucked it and used a long lighter to light it every time we grilled. This year, since the grill-box and body itself are in decent shape, despite being outside for 14 years, and some of those years it was uncovered (yay Weber), I’ve recently replaced the flavorizer bars (from Amazon) the burner tubes, which I rec’d from Weber while it was still under warranty but hadn’t installed until this year, and this igniter. This igniter took all of 10 minutes to install, without looking at the instructions. It seems to work at least as well, if not better than I recall that of the OEM igniter. I look forward to not having to remember to grab the lighter before I go outside to the grill. If you have an older, high-quality grill, spend the $20-$200 it takes to fix it and save yourself ~$1,000 that a new one would cost you.For another $110 I also bought a carbon steel griddle on Amazon, essentially turning our conventional grill into a slightly smaller Blackstone griddle, but that can be easily swapped out with the regular grill plates.A month ago, I thought that I’d be shelling out another grand for a new Genesis grill, but I’m certain that this one will be fully-functional for at least another 5 years.
