Not so good
Update: i wanted to love this but sadly I do not. At first it was great but then it started making my hair feel coated. When dry, I could barely brush my hair and it felt gross. I got the peppermint one. I will shampoo with it once in a while to use it up but not everytime.I have a lot of hair. The first time I used it my hair was fairly dirty. Cleans well and smells nice. Hair feels good. I was worried about getting it worked through my hair. Rubbed around my hairline and then parted a couple spots on top and back. Soaped up really well. I'm ready to try other scents. Wrapper is paper. Threw in recycle bin. No big bottle waste.

Love this shampoo
I always order this. It is the best shampoo, lots of lather, gets my hair really clean and feels good.

Amazing!
There weren't very many reviews on this when I was searching so I thought I'd come back and write my piece to better help someone else who might be interested in trying it. I am a licensed hair stylist so I know a lot about hair. I have been trying to get away from conventional shampoo because I was not happy with how it was leaving my hair-- even the expensive stuff like Aveda, which happens to be a company I have worked for, was leaving my hair limp and greasy after just a day. I was also struggling with dandruff. Anyways, I started off just trying baking soda and apple cider vinegar, or "no poo" as it is called by all natural community. It took about 2 weeks for my hair to "transition" but eventually I was only washing with the baking soda twice a week without experiencing too much oiliness. Overall I wasn't happy with the bs because I was constantly having to reformulate my bs to water ratio and I didn't LOVE the way my hair felt. The dandruff was gone but it would either be too greasy or too frizzy/dry for my liking. I also read where the PH of bs isn't good for your hair over the long term and can really ruin your hair. So, I started making my own shampoos, but wasn't happy with those results either. I read about this shampoo bar after some google searching and decided to give it a try. I was leary because it is basically all essential oils and water, that my hair would be greasy, but that hasnt been the case! My hair is clean, shiny, and wonderful after each wash! I absolutely love this bar. It lathers like normal shampoo and the smell is very light. I do an ACV rinse after washing just because that is what works for my hair type (I have fine to normal hair-- not too oily but not dry either. I am prone to fly aways also). I apply argan oil to my hair before blow drying and the combination is amazing! I can't say enough good things about this shampoo bar. I am washing about 2-3 times per week right now with it, but only because I work out at the gym 6 times per week. If I weren't constantly getting my head soaked with sweat I could probably go much longer without washing. If you are looking for a natural cleansing option with few ingredients that won't strip your hair of its natural oils-- this is it!

Bad shampoo!
The first time I bought this bar shampoo, it worked great leaving my hair feeling clean and not weighted down. So I ordered 9 more bars. The new bars leave a waxy build up on my hair. I can’t even get a comb through my hair after using this. My hair does not feel good nor does it feel soft. I won’t be buying any more! Not sure what ingredient this company uses that leaves my hair waxy and unmanageable. My hair feels clumpy and looks like I put too much gel on it, which by the way, I never use! My daughter has worse luck with this shampoo than I do! I have to use a conditioner to help manage my hair but my daughter, who has straight hair (mine is curly), has to use vinegar to get the waxy stuff out. It doesn’t feel good nor does it look good. Bad shampoo!

Torn
just started natural shampoo recently. For reference I have fairly thin long wavy hair and tend to have an oily scalp with drier ends. Was using baking soda/ ACV but I didn't like that my hair just didn't feel that clean. Mainly because you can only wash your hair with baking soda twice a week or it dries out your hair and scalp. So I went looking for other solutions and I ordered this soap from Amazon. Before it could get here, I found acure organics shampoo and conditioner at whole foods (also on Amazon) and it works amazing. Highly recommend that duo for natural hair care that you don't have to compromise with. Then I went a few days between washes and my hair got incredibly greasy. I decided to try the shampoo bar and it felt amazing. I have softened well water and it got sudsy just fine. It also took very little to work up a lather so I was surprised. It left my hair and scalp feeling pretty squeaky clean. My hair also looked pretty nice. The issue I have is a few hours later my scalp felt super itchy. There isn't any build up or leftover product but I think it just stripped my scalp a lot more than I was used to having it from the other products and things I was using the past few weeks. There are other kinds of jr's out there that I want to try that seem like they might be less harsh than the original. The bar was a lot smaller than I expected but again it takes almost nothing to get a good lather. I just wish this didn't strip my scalp too much. It feels like I used regular SLS shampoo which makes my scalp itchy. So if you're someone who wants to get rid of chemicals in your life but doesn't want to give up the stripped clean feeling, this bar is probably for you. For someone who has gotten used to no lather or little lather natural shampoo, it might be a little too stripping. Wish they had a sensitive version will maybe less Castile.

So small
Very disappointed of the size of bar compared to price.

Realmente desenreda
