Good paper, uninspired tale
Every single page is the same. Little bit uninspired if you ask me. I read each one of these cover to cover, and they say very little, the conclusions are sloppy, and the narrative is weak. Very nice paper though. High quality sheets. I just question the author's artistic choices.

Causes ink to smudge - useless.
Rubbish, my ink continuously smudges - my notes are a mess. Pencil is fine, biro is fine, but it seems as if the paper is coated with something that prevents ink from absorbing as quickly for anything like ink pens or gel pens which is all I am comfortable writing in (due to hand strain I can't write in biro as they require too much pressure). I also can't use highlighters, which is annoying for my style of note taking.I had exactly the same pack of five paper that was bought a couple years ago (2016 ish) and never had this problem before. It seems as if the production has been changed since then (purchased new Jan 2018). See the picture for a comparison of the paper (note: I waited about five seconds for each to dry before smudging them). I'm extremely disappointed - it was such good quality and good value before! - and now I'm stuck with 800 sheets of paper I don't know what to do with.

What is isn't...
...is an A4 sheet of paper once you have used the perforation to remove it from the pad.The A4 pad, including the top binding and the part of the sheet above the perforation means that you have a page that is, at best, 29cms as opposed to the full 29.7cms of A4.This discrepancy matters if you wanted to used the sheets in a printer set up with A4 margins in your software and/or as part of a document that had been produced on unpunched paper and subsequently punched for use in a ring binder etc.Additionally the 160 pages quoted is, of course, only 80 sheets of paper that has both a front and a back. Meanwhile the 75gsm [gsm - an International measure that is virtually meaningless in reality] paper is neither a 'high white' nor substantial enough to stop 'bleed through' when duplex printing.I purchased this already 4 hole punched A4 pad to save me time in the production of a document that had to be submitted on A4 paper. I also wanted it to look visually appealing.Sadly this particular item has failed to meet my expectations and my needs & wants - somewhat of an epic all around failure and a lesson learned! If this feedback/review has helped in any way please be kind enough to click on 'Helpful' or 'Comment'.Thank you for your time in reading my 'Review/Feedback' – I hope it may have helped.

Just OK.
It seems increasingly difficult to find decent A4 pads these days, and those you can still find seem to have shrunk their page counts. These are OK, and do provide value for money. The paper is quite thin - thinner than my last supermarket pads. The perforation at the top is unnecessary. The paper can be torn out easily enough without it (the cover fell off as soon as I opened mine), and tearing along the perforation reduces the size by a few mm so it is no longer A4. Also, a little pedantic, but the punch-holes seem too near the edge of the paper when compared to other pads, and therefore are more likely to rip out of a folder. But you get what you pay for. Fine for rough notes, but I'll go back to trawling the supermarket stationery aisles.

Damaged goods - see pics
The pack of six pads was delivered in a plastic wrapper, which itself showed no evidence of damage. The pads inside were dry but had clearly been exposed to water at some point before dispatch. The resulting wrinkles make three of the six pads suitable only for scrap use. The other three are acceptable, so we're going to put a heavy weight on the others and hope they straighten out over time.

Grid Style paper quality not as good as other styles of paper
Paper quality varies between paper styles.I once purchased the Dotgrid paper and was blown away at how nice the paper was for foutnain pen use, you can spill bottles of ink on it and it will barely bleed through into the next page, ink dries really well and you can easily get sheening to show up.However... I bought the 5mm Squaregrid paper thinking it would be just as good but no. This paper was only slightly better than cheap printer paper, most inks (wetter inks) will feather and blowout when writing on it and any portion where i even wrote slightly slower bled straight through. Even tippex / white correction fluid seperated and seeped through to the other page. The grid lines was also very dark and distracting to be used.I have not tried the other styles of paper but if you do, probably only but the Dotgrid (Teal cover) version and definately stay away from the grid paper unless you only plan on using pencil; even then, the grid lines would be darker than your pencil markings anyways...Dotgrid: 10/105mm Squares: 3/10

High quality
Arrived promptly and very well packaged. Paper is very smooth and of good quality. Minimal ghosting experienced so far using fibre tip pens, fineliners, watercolour ink and blue black fountain pen ink.Grid is printed just right. Not too dark and not too pale. Perfect for practicing calligraphy and brush lettering and also doodling/mandala patterns. Will purchase again.

Cheap graph paper poorly printed out.
If you're expecting a standardised pack of graph paper wheere each page is the same then this isn't for you. The squares go to the edge of the page much like it's being cut from a much larger roll of graph paper. The problem is that each page is cut differently or the squares weren't designed for A4 paper so each page is completely different. While this may sound like a minor gripe, if it's purchased for school work or technical work you want each page presented the same when it isn't.Perfect for kids and hobby work - not for more technical work.
