Brooding! Atmospheric!
The backdrop is dark, brooding, atmospheric! Heightened by the music.Enter Dracula, "Evil" incarnate, that no earthly science can "cure".The Pesky Penguin utters "must unwet my pants", before being reduced to the status of serving Dracula as his manservant! The Joker encounters Draculas grave. As Dracula feeds upon the joker, the penguin comments, "breakfast in bed, freshly squeezed"!The Joker as the "undead" devours the blood bank. The ending is a bit of a disappointment! The penguin, the joker are suitably dealt with.As for Batmans romance it's unsatisfactory left in mid air!

not the worse but i can think of better ways to spend an hour.
ok so i didn't get too far in (about 20 mins) when it was just a bit too much for me, i didn't like the look or VA of penguin or Joker, some of the lines (and sounds) that penguin delivers make him sound shivering and comical (i half expected him to turn into woody woodpecker) then there was stuff it was just too out of character like did you know penguin was a trained martial artist.... you didn't? that's because he isn't apart from in this oh and he punches through a solid brick/concrete wall i can only suspend my disbelief so far before it breaks.if your reading before watching Batman Vs Dracula don't watch it, go watch one of the other batman cartoons that are on here then a different one don't bother with this one till all over options are seen first (im assuming your a Prime user)

Good Story and something a bit different
I like what this feature does. It sounds like it could be very silly when you take in the title, and certainly had the potential to be like a bad episode of Scooby Doo. But actually the story is played very seriously and fits well into the themes and aesthetic of the whole series. This is definately worth a look for fans of 'The Batman' animated show, and i applaud them for trying something different with the mythology of Batman. This is not my favourite story, but it is a long way from being the worst.

a great animated film set with "The Batman" continuity
This is an animated film set within the continuity of "The Batman" cartoon series. It's a feature-length movie, and involves Dracula awakening in Gotham City. Soon there's a vampire menace spreading through the city - and Batman must deal with it. Yet the Dark Knight isn't used to fighting enemies who are stronger and faster than himself ... and as for Dracula, he's virtually indestructible! This is a well-made film, full of action and excitement. It's perfect for children aged 6+ (as well as grown-up fans). While "The Batman" isn't my favourite incarnation of the Dark Knight (I much prefer 'B:TAS'), this is nonetheless a very good movie.Note: I recommend taking care when ordering - as I received a region 1 DVD.

Too grisly for kids, too basic for adults
I've not watched too much of the animated series of Batman but was attracted to this because of my love of both Dracula and DC Comics. The story is fairly basic; Dracula is resurrected in Gotham and, as it seems unlikely that there are two men synonymous with bats, Batman gets blamed for the lost and murdered citizens. It's hard to imagine the demographic this film was aiming for. It's a bit grisly and unpleasant for kids but the plot line is too simplistic for adults. It falls between two stalls. There are appearances from both the Joker and Penguin, and Albert's dry humour is, as ever, very welcome. The animation shows some nice touches and the music is atmospheric, it's just a bit lacking in substance.

It's not for younger fans. It questions how different Drac & Bat are. Watch to find out.
I'm giving it 3 not 4 because it is a bloodier movie than the TV show, not for younger viewer. Has a good idea Dracula v Batman & adds Penguin & Joker into the story too. I'm not as big a fan of the animation in this as the 90's version, too doesn't Bruce have Alfred's nose in this? They also use Vicki Vale as both love interest for BW & Dracula. It's quick passed & the write is obviously a fan of Vampires too, only D isn't invited into Wayne's home a no no for most vampires. Not best but good bat tail.
