Was not disappointed

It been along time since I was in the market for a solvent tank so I was surprised to find out that you can’t really buy one for actual solvent these days. It’s basically soapy water kind of like simple great. Seams to work reasonably well considering it’s not a real solvent. I Knew it was soapy water so I had low expectations but it actually worked pretty well.

I have used a lot of degreasers over my years as professional mechanic, this product works fast and does the best cleaning of all the products I have used over 40 years. Plus, its nontoxic. I highly recommend it.

I used this degreaser for several days, but found it requires almost a 90/10 concentration before it removed shavings and burnt cutting fluid from Aluminum I had milled. The concentration of “solvent” to water made it flow well but it would evaporate overnight even in a small tank. The evaporated liquid allowed hard metal deposits to remain on the tank an inside the pump which subsequently had to be disassembled to allow it to pump. It proves that water based degreasers are far less useful in a shop as they must be emptied daily and refilled each day. The use of a concentration of up to 90 percent degreaser is not an alternative to the traditional parts washer solvent as it is subject to full evaporation if left in the tank well, and this degreaser is not viscous, and cannot be separated or filtered. I use it now to clean smaller parts that I soak in a closed container. I discard the dirty cleaner by pouring it onto a rag after use, where it evaporates. I find that my small parts washer is unusable but I will continue to look for an alternative such cider vinegar as it works well as an economical alternative.
