Superb with Remarkable 2! Highly Recommended!
The media could not be loaded. This Staedtler Norris Jumbo pencil is a fantastic stylus for the Remarkable 2.The pencil looks like a jumbo HB pencil in it's design which is not only quirky but super stylish!Writing and drawing with this pencil is a pleasure, paper like texture and feel, smooth and crisp lines. The writing angle is also superb - i had a different brand of pencil which did not work with my angle of writing, however this Norris pencil works just fine with my steep angle. The built in eraser function also works very well - just flip the pencil and use the built in eraser tool to 'rub out' any mistakes you have made.Pencil shading is excellent, again, very good angle for light pressure work. The weight feels a tad light, but it is great too hold and the triangular design provides a comfortable grip.If you have a Remarkable 2 then i can not recommend this product enough - order one you honestly will not regret it!

Works better than the original Remarkable 2 stylus, and has a really nice feel
I had used the ReMarkable2 for a couple of years, with the standard stylus, and was generally happy with it. Then the stylus, which attaches magnetically, got lost in transit somewhere. I went to order a new stylus from ReMarkable and was shocked by the price (£119), especially when they then added £19 "for delivery in 2-7 days".After much searching on Amazon and looking at various cheap styluses with mixed reviews, and none of them were magnetic like the original stylus, I almost gave up and almost bought the "real" stylus. Just before I did, I started looking at covers too, they were also expensive. So I looked on Amazon, and I found this cover. As it happens, it had a comprehensive recent review by someone called "Curious George" of this OLAIKE "Compatible with Remarkable 2" cover where the review said amongst other things that "The Jumbo Noris Pencil slips in and out easily after a bit of use.". I had been considering the Jumbo Noris stylus but it was more expensive than most of the other styluses, and I was unsure whether the Staedtler brand really had any relevance to styluses. But all in, the OLAIKE case and Jumbo Noris pencil were going to cost £76 including next day delivery from Amazon. So I thought it was worth the risk.Thank you to whoever Curious George is for that review. I have to say the combination is brilliant. The STAEDTLER Noris Jumbo pencil is better than the original ReMarkable stylus, it writes really nicely, has a nice feel to it, and the eraser works well. All for £40. It fits the pen holder of the OLAIKE case perfectly. And the case holds the ReMarkable really well and feels like a really good quality cover. The two together have reinvigorated my usage of the ReMarkable - whereas ReMarkable's own price for either a stylus or cover almost consigned the device to the shelves along with old iPads etc.I highly recommend the combination.

Great for Remarkable 2
Simple functional ergonomic design. The slightly fatter Jumbo version feels comfortable in hand to draw and write with., The tip of this has a slight rubbery feel so it doesn’t quite feel or sound like writing with pencil on paper but offers good resistance on the screen without gliding. Responds well to pressure and tilt when drawing. If I was to be picky, I would say, the strokes are not consistent when shading using the pencil mode on Re2, especially at very low pressure but this is the case with the Lamy pen too. Unlike the Lamy however, the eraser on this works on the Re2, straight out of the box albeit with a set aperture size. A lid may have helped keep the top safe but not a big deal. Lamy when mounted with the Re2 original pen tip, has a touch more resistance on screen, noticeable when taking notes fast but not by much. The Re2 tip can’t be mounted on this. Overall, good pen to use with Re2 especially if you like the eraser function at the back of the pen rather than choosing the eraser on the tablet every time. It is pricey for what it is but very reasonable compared to the Re2 pen!

Very happy so far
Had it for a couple of months now. No issues at all. It works very well. It is really really pretty. Feels very well in the hand. Writes very smoothly. The only con is that you have to flip it to use the eraser, whcih slows you down a little bit.

Works perfectly! Great value. Eraser is a real bonus!
So I recently purchased the Remarkable 2, after a long period of soul searching (do I really need another electronic device) and getting to terms with the cost of something which does nothing else but mimic your notebook. I baulked at paying for their pen, especially for the one with the eraser. Searched around and came across this. It is fully compatible with the Remarkable 2. I love it because...First of all, I love the design. It is exactly like the old fashioned Noris pencils kids use in school.Secondly, while I don't think it feels exactly like a pencil in your pen (it has a somewhat 'rubbery' feel, not wood) it has the weight and girth of a Noris pencil. This is the jumbo one, and it fits well in the hand. Thirdly, it writes beautifully. Now, when I first used it, I was slightly disappointed at first. There appeared to be a lag and it felt like a pencil writing. I had wanted the feel of a pen on paper, not pencil. I had expected the Noris to mimic a pen and then kicked myself thinking that of course a Noris digital would mimic a Noris pencil. However, if you toggle between the different settings on the Remarkable itself, you can select, calligraphy pen, ballpoint, rollerball etc etc and different thickness of nibs. It was amazing. The Noris works incredibly well on the pen settings, and has slightly less lag than when it was on the pencil setting - to me anyway. The eraser works well. No need to rub hard - just a slight brush - a very tiny lag and the mark disappears. I am very pleased with this - set up for simply - just use immediately. No need to pair or anything like that.Great value, considering that digital pens with the eraser function are much more expensive.
