We bought this as it was a universal fit. Due to the size of our sleeve we had less than 1/8” annular space, meaning we couldn’t install the provided foam seal/insulation. Our existing sleeve was short, so it does stick out three inches. However it’s in the corner and you don’t stick things against it, so it’s a minimum impact. If you prefer the estetics of a flush unit to the wall, you may need to replace your existing sleeve if it’s shallower than 18”.Performance, major improvement over our previous unit. It’s on the small end for our space, but it cools it down very quickly.

Air conditioner works great.A little difficulty learning the controls but seem to have it now.have not tried the heat feature as bought it for the air.
