Great product very happy.
The locking installing pin should be offered when purchasing the hitch. I had to order that separately.

Execellent Design
I've owned several iterations of B&W Hitches. They are all well made, functional, and sturdy. What sets this one apart is that I can use it with the Multi-Pro tailgate on my 2021 Sierra. The height is spot on for the type of trailers a 1500 truck can tow. In my example I tow a 28' boat trailer and a 16' enclosed trailer. When not use, tuck it away and you have full use of the tailgate.

Solid, well built
This product is solid and well made. Definitely a must if you tow a lot. Perfect for my GMC multipro tailgate setup. Worth the money!

This design gives you NO drop positions, only elevated.
I had the Browning edition for my 2015 Silverado and loved it. Decided to by one again for my 2021 Sierra AT4 with the 2" factory lift and the MultiPro Tailgate and took a chance on this new design. It shows the balls arranged in a position that gives you no drop and positions to raise them. Base on the picture, it looks as if you could flip the moving base around to give you some drop positions and it does work. The problem is that when installed on the truck, it will not slide into the receiver because it hits on the chain attachment plate ... just barely. If it had been just a 1/2 inch lower, it would have worked and I would get the needed drop position I was looking for. A revision if needed for this to work for those needing drop position and it would be simple. The real bummer is that they only offer this design for the 2" receiver. The other one they offer with much deeper drops if for the 2 1/2 " receivers ... 2500 and 3500 GM truck and similar so now I am stuck with needing to use the conventional l style tongues needing to be pulled out each time I am done towing and having it rattle around the bed or get the interior of my cab dirty. I was much nicer to Stow & Go. So I am sadly returning it.

Need to be improved for the GMC 1500’s not enough drop.
I’ll try to make this short and sweet! I personally like this brand they make a fine heavy duty hitch that’s safe and Secure. But bottom line this hitch wasn’t designed very well to work with the newer GMC’s 1500’s with the Multi pro tailgate! This is the same hitch they have always made. The problem is they didn’t allow for enough drop for lowering your ball to get out of the away of the tailgate or to even level out smaller trailers which I thought was the whole point.?! Nah! Your shank alone probably will not hit in most cases. They hollowed out to recess the shank into the receiver which makes it impossible to clamp a silencer around it to take the rattle/slop out. Solid bar so u can add a spring tool inside the hitch to take the rattle out. Its got a lot of slop and rattle. Which is something I can’t stand and haven’t got anyway to fix. But the biggest complaint is unless you pull 2-3pins every time to stow ball rearward like you do on most all their hitches. Your going to hit the ball. Honestly I could’ve just use my normal hitch and just tried to remember to pulled it each time. I only had the 1 pin to remove on my lightweight hitch and called it a day. I thought the whole point was to set it lower and forget about it. And this is not what it’s design is intended for in this case. Now what really bothers me is they’re making their 2.5in slant shank hitches with a nice 7in drop and that really works! And their advertising it more so then the one for the 1500. Every video and advertisement only shows the slanted shanked designed! And if you didn’t know your 1500 only has a 2in hitch receiver you would mistakenly buy the 2.5in just by going off the videos. And with its 7”in lower drop setting to lower the ball down out of the way you can set it and forget it. But!! It’s only for the 2500’s and 3500’s and not for the 1500? Umm what the hell? Last I checked GM sold more 1500’s. B&W make your hitch for your 1500’s that will lower 7”in’s . The new GMC AT4’s have a 6”in lift in the rear and taller mud tires I could use a much lower setting. This 2”in ain’t going to cut it.
