Very informative! I recently came home from the botanical garden with 10 different native perennials - 30 plants in all. Even though I had a rough idea where I wanted to plant them, I used this book before planting each variety to double check my decision and to learn more about each. All questions were answered in this book. The information is succinct and comprehensive. The pictures are fabulous. I will use this book again and again. It’s the most useful book I’ve purchased in a long while.

Well organized with excellent pictures and information. The hard part is finding a nursery near you that can get you native plants for your area. They may have only one or two they can get. Just beginning to get a native garden planted in an area overrun by several invasive species. People should be aware of what plants they stick in their garden and what they can do to the native habitat once they escape—and they will escape!

Well planned out and organized by the author. Nice color pictures of every plant.

I could not rave mire about this book! It’s the best educational resource I’ve ever seen in regards to native plants. 10/10 so happy with my purchase! It’s my new daily driver to developing a native and pollinator garden.

Book seems packed with information on native plants, but I did not see an index, which makes itharder to find specific plantspecies.

The photos were beautiful and the descriptions were great. Text was well written and understandable. I bought as a gift for my wife and will give one to my daughter for Christmas. It was very informative and useful. We have put it into our plant library as a reference for our garden. I would highly recommend for any one interested in southeastern plants.

This is a small book compared to the author's previous work on this topic, and that makes is very easy to use, and also very credible. If you live in the SE and want to introduce more native plants to your garden, this will help you!
