This works!
This actually works well. I use the 2 ml opening to open my 5 ml ampoules. Sometimes the neck stays in the hole but I just tap it against the Sharpes container opening and the neck drops right out. No more broken glass to deal with or cut fingers.

This definitely helps but I still get sliced sometimes. Still 5 stars here because why not!

Ampule top gets stuck
After breaking the top of the ampule off, the top piece of the ampule get stuck in the holder. It is very difficult to get out even with tweezers. You pretty much have to crumble the glass inside which creates a mess.

Better for larger Ampules
The smallest size is a little long for our ampules and the glass gets stuck inside on occasion. Still better than doing it by hand.
