he who has an ear, let him hear the message
Some reviewers complain about the "flow" of the album. I will admit it's not as musically captivating as other stuff of his, or secular artists on the radio, but this album has truly been instrumental changing my life, i,m glad I had an ear to hear the message, and not just my flesh to hear seductive beats. I get mad and loose my peace because my phone wont stay connected to my Bluetooth radio in my truck, when there are Christians suffering and dying, and children are being aborted. We are blind to the fact that we're loosing our religious freedom in this nation. Someone complained that this album is more about Christian correction than reaching the lost, well if we Christians get corrected in our neighborhoods, we could probably bring more to Christ then just someone listening to a Christian album that has beats to itch are ears like the secular radio stations do. Love this path you're on flame, I'm glad God used this album to help in the process of waking me up, there's some good stuff happening in my area in Florida, love to get in contact : [email protected]

Ummmmmm...
Flame is a legend and a pioneer in Christian rap, but to me all of his albums that I have bought which was probably everyone but "Rewind", seems only geared to "correction in the Body of Christ." That's not bad. His music is straight geared to the Christians and in my opinion, not really geared towards evangelism to the loss. Most of Flame's album contain great substance, sound doctrine and teaching, but how does a heathen embrace that if he doesn't know much about Christ? Now I recommend this album to all Christians, especially Gospel Rap Artists because this album actually aims at educating those who want to be apart of the Christian Hip Hop culture.Flames lyrics really don't have much creativity to me. One of his highest qualities of how he uses his voice articulation and enunciation is sort of missing in this album. Nonetheless, he, as always, with the exception of "Jesus or Nothing", has delivered a quality Christian rap album worth more than a second listening. I just feel him and Lecrae needs to do a duo album, because Lecrae's albums seems more geared towards the secular audience, Flame's seems more geared to the Christian audience, a duet album would create the perfect balance. Look into it guys!

... since his debut album which continues to be my favorite album by him
Flame has been one of my top 5 fave CHH artists since his debut album which continues to be my favorite album by him, but I can't even make it through this album. Admittedly I don't have much to say about this album due to the fact that I haven't fully listened to it, however what I have heard is so far removed from Flames signature style that I just can't get with it. It sounds like he's trying to sound like other artists in an attempt to stay current, but it just comes off as awkward in my opinion. I hate to be so harsh on my boy because I love me some Flame but it is what it is. Maybe I'm just getting old and set in my ways but I think Flame is more talented than he presents himself to be on this album.I gave it two stars in hopes that I'll pull it out again sometime in the future and realize that it's actually an awesome album that just needed a little time to grow on me. It wouldn't be the first time that has happened.

Leader, Teacher, One of the Best
Flame a.k.a. Marcus Gray has brought very good, some of the best that C.H.H. has to offer over the years, and this time is no different. I only struggle with this new rap chant style, which isn't his, on a few songs. I listened to the messages, and as always learned something new. I got it from When There's Smoke all the way Forward, and he just keeps it together. Flame on!

I wasn't expecting it to be so good
I love the entire album. I purchased it a couple weeks ago and have been working out to it nonstop. My favorite song has to be "the greatest" because God simply is the greatest and the lyrics are so on point it's crazy. I envision certain songs as a soundtrack to a film (I'm a scriptwriter). I can't wait to purchase this for others to support flame (currently moving). I usually don't worship to flame's music but I was in tears and worshiping like crazy, lol. I appreciate what he does for the Lord!

Christian Rap Album of the Year
This album has cemented a lingering thought I've had lately: Within the Christian music industry, it is the rappers and hip-hop artists who are bolder on the truth than anyone else. While many Christian artists can formulate the right chords and vague and/or repetitive lyrics to have a radio hit, it's individuals like Flame who are bringing the Truth to music. This album is outstanding with great beats and on=point lyrics. Love the sound bites of Russell Moore. I can't stop listening to it!

I love it": -)
I came to know Flame through Lecrae. After that, it was on. He truly gives us God's truth in words and a way that makes it plain and that is what we need in this world today to rich folks today from all age groups. "you know what it is, I love it" :-)

Awesome music!
Flame is one of my family's favorite Christian Rap/Hip Hop artists! The Forward album's message addresses the Church's role in today's culture and speaks to directly to those in need of Jesus. All this is presented through skilled Rap and excellent music. I highly recommend this album! Check out his latest work with MikeReal called " Revival ", and his videos on Youtube!
