Sanjeev Kapoor Indian Cooking
Tremendous book and really get a feel for authentic and evidently very ethnic cooking. Lack of photos should not put you off or even the names as they,re all colloquial but that,s part of the beauty of the book. it makes no pretences and pulls no punches, if you really like cooking you,ll read each recipe and do as i do, flick through pick a page and cook. M ost of the ingredients i,m sure would be better if you bought them fresh from indian markets rather than use tesco. i,ve even started growing my own. Top book, buy it and you,ll use it for life.

I was made aware of this book on a recent trip to india. Theres millions of Indian cook books on the market, and I must have most of them! This books stands out...you dont get lovely pictures but you do get a multitude of great recipes. Many are really simple so you dont have to travel to the far east for ingredients (unlike the majority of recipes I have in other books) Mr Kapoor is on you tube but talks in indian so not too easy to follow....the book tells it all.
