Got this for my friend’s son birthday and he loved it. Also got mammoth stuffed and he love it.

Great book

Easy-to-read book that kids can read themselves (ages 6-9 I'd guess). Great illustrations which bring the prehistoric mammal world to life. We were first introduced to these books at the school library and were impressed enough to by the series for ourselves. Just remember that these are for young readers and so there is not a lot of in-depth discussion of the species, just the basics.

4year old Grandson is in to woolly mammoths. He loves the book. Great format about the different breeds.

My four-year old grandson adores Ice Age creatures, particularly woolly Mammoths, and he continues to be entertained by this book that he received for Christmas. He has absorbed, and can repeat, its many interesting facts as well as enjoyed the excellent illustrations. Especially for its low price, this book delivers.

My eight year old son loves this series. He starting reading them at the library but they didn't have them all available so it was nice to get him his own to read at home.
