i have bought Rain-X lots of times, I drive several vehicles with my work and this is the only screen wash i will put in any of them, its a fantastic product and I couldn't recommend it enough, it improves visibility in light and heavy rain immensely

This Rain-X is perfect if you want to see the windscreen and beyond, it stops the water from clogging up the view and allows the water to role off.

I dont know who is writing these 5 star reviews or why this is an Amazon choice but it is an appalling product. Not only will it leave terrible smears but they are incredibly hard to remove. Night glare caused by this is dangerous. It actually eats away at the rubber on the wipers so you get rubber marks as well.If you dont trust my review, read the low star review from others and check their pictures.With this product you cant see out your windshield and you will need to replace your wipers. Horrible stuff.

i have been using the 200ml bottles of rainex for a few years now and its great for expelling water and giving better visability when raining. i am hoping this additive will make that initial treatment last longer than the 2-3 months i usually get. i decided to try the additive instead of the mixed wash because you can use 5lrs of screen wash pretty quick in winter removing salt from the screen or bugs in the summer, i am hoping that since this is made by rainex, they have solved the issue of normal screen wash just beading up and getting repelled from the screen and thus having the inability to remove bugs in summer. removing salt has never been an issue when using rainex since salt absorbs water. would recommend rainex repellent treatment anytime. will update after real testing

Brought this on whim since the wipers aren’t always the best and as you can see from the image the difference between the treated area and the untreated area. The effect took no more than 5 washer jet cycles to start working and has created a great water beading area. A little expensive but works well

I mixed it with my regular windscreen wash and it cleans and clears the screen and beads the rain drops. Very pleased.
