Almacone Chewable Tablets, Yellow & White - 100 Each

I'm not much of a pill popper, so I don't keep a shelf full of OTC remedies. Almacone certainly is an exception for me. I originally had been prescribed this by my VA doctor. but was reluctant to use it. After trying it once, in the middle of the night, I became a believer. I had a rather severe acidy stomach that one Almacone calmed in a matter of seconds.When I finally ran out of my initial bottle (about 3 years), I thought I'd have to get another prescription for a refill. Perhaps, not surprisingly, I came across the Almacone on Amazon. Same bottle, identical medication, same relief. Thankfully, I don't need or use it all that often, but when I do I have it. Especially at 3:00 A.M. when nasty gastrointestinal leprechauns decide to stop by, My Almacone reliably fights them off.

Used this product before and will again.

It doesn't work as well as mylanta, and it also is very gritty!The taste is fine, but the sany taste stays with you for a long time after chewing.

chalky taste

Doesn't look like the same bottle even. And they are not white and yellow. I am not sure if we even got the right product. They do not work at all.
