These make great sunglasses for driving, boating, or fishing, because they're polarized.
Version reviewed: "KLEENGUARD V30 Nemesis Polarized Safety Glasses (28635), Polarized Smoke Lenses, Gunmetal Frame"I got these in the "smoke color" to use as sunglasses for driving. They make great driving sunglasses, as the polarized lens cuts the sun glare reflecting off of other cars. They're very dark, which I like because my eyes are very sensitive to light when driving. The frames are also very comfortable, with the part that goes over your ears being soft, rubbery, and flexible. I can't say how durable they are, as I just started using them. The only downside is that they're so dark that it makes it harder to read my on-dash GPS.Polarized lenses are also great for fishing or boating, because the polarized lenses help cut glare from the water, allowing you to sometimes see underwater and see fish, rocks, or obstacles to the boat. The cord that goes around your head would be useful while boating, so you don't lose them if you drop them or if you fall overboard (I've lost other sunglasses that way while canoeing or kayaking).

On Road , In Shop
Safety glasses are multi task. Great out on the road. Use them on the days of rain and sun mixed and cuts down on glair. Out on job site in the sun and shade keeps eyes safe and cuts down on eye fatigue due to light reflection and direct sunlight. Manufacturer makes more than one lens tint , No issue to find the correct safety glass lense type for individual specific needs.

Great at first, then nose piece issues
These glasses work great as safety glasses and normal wear sunglasses. I have been wearing them just about every day for a month and a half. One problem I have with these glasses is that the nose pieces are of rather poor quality and wear through very quickly (mine wore out within 1 month). The nose piece is constructed of a soft plastic that does feel very nice and soft on your nose at first, but then the ends wear through and the metal sticks out and can get irritating. The other problem with the nose piece is that they rotate freely and start to slide off the metal bar. That is the reason for the 4 stars. If they had a more resilient nose piece, these would have gotten 5 stars! The only other complaint I have, which is a double edged sword, is the way the glasses fold. When folded, the glasses take up much more room than a typical pair of glasses and do not fit in most cases nor do they fit into the standard car glasses holder mounted in the roof of the car. HOWEVER, due to the configuration of the fold, the glasses are very comfortable on my face! They provide a great wrap around protection and an "endless lens" feel as you can't see the sides of the lens when wearing them. In my opinion this is not a huge problem, as I would rather have a comfortable fit, rather than a small folded size. As long as my shirt has a chest pocket or if I leave them on top of my head when indoors, I'm fine. Or just leave them in my car.Overall, happy with the purchase! I just wish the nose pieces were better so I could give 5 stars as my rating!

My everyday sunglasses; Review for both brown and smoke tints
I have wimpy eyes; I'm extremely nearsighted, they water easily and I hate the sun. I also live in Florida. Needless to say, I go through polarized sunglasses pretty quickly. I grabbed my first pair of these for about $5 (a steal!) during a lightning deal on here and fell in love. They are sturdy but flexible and cover my entire field of vision. I have read several complaints, and thought I would address them from my point of view....The nose pieces: Yes, they are flimsy, and they fall off. If you are aware of this, you might either 1) go ahead and superglue them in place, or 2) catch them when it happens. I personally liked the sunglasses enough that when I lost a nose piece the first time, I simply used hot glue to fashion a new one! It's not fancy, but it's not like anyone actually sees the nose piece other than you right? The width of the glasses when folded...this is because they are protective glasses; they are not necessarily meant to be everyday wear. My husband, when he wears them, simply places them about his neck when not wearing them. I have done the same on occasion; I also simply place them in my purse. Yes, you run the risk of scratching the lenses in this case. Look for one of those little soft cloth baggies to carry them in.The smoke tinted lenses: The protection is dark enough for strong sun, but also light enough that they still work for an overcast day. I have grabbed these at $15 (and if you use subscribe and save, you can get them for $11!) and try to keep a few spares on hand. They do not fit into any standard glasses cases, they are 'safety goggles' after all, but I like them just fine as every day sunglasses. Both I and my husband use them regularly and I highly recommend them. My husband is fairly OCD and cannot stand ANY scratches on the lenses at all; this is why, at $11 with subscribe and save, I find these to be such a lucrative deal! The amber tinted lenses are perfect for any overcast day, and I have also found them helpful for when my eyes are fatigued after staring at my computer all day long. I have used them indoors when fighting headaches; the nice thing about both of these tints is that they are dark enough to help against lighting but not too dark that they hamper anything that you are trying to do.TLDR: Compared to $20 or more for polarized sunglasses at Walmart that may or may not cover your entire field of vision, you can't go wrong with these for $15 or less. Watch the nose pieces; glue them in place, and as with ANY sunglasses, protect the lenses from scratches! These will not fit into any standard glasses cases, so a cloth bag is probably your best bet.
