Makes playing guitar easier on your fingers
I have been playing guitar for a long time. This product has been around for a long time and there’s a good reason. It is great! It reduces the friction on your fingertips, makes it easier to slide notes, and it provides a slight lubrication with no real residue. I spray a little on my acoustic guitar neck before playing. I give it one quick shot when I’m done and wipe the Guitar neck off with a nice clean cloth. I have noticed that by keeping the strings clean, it seems to extend the life of them a bit. For a few dollars, this stuff is a game changer..

SLICK BLACK CADILLAC
I can’t explain why, but Finger Ease is the best product for my strings. It not only adds a freshness to the strings but in my own spiritual world, it makes my strings stay in touch.

I won't play a gig without it
Been using Finger Ease for 60 years, first when I puddled around with folk music in high school circa 1965, then later when I got off drums and took up electric guitar to work solo. Before Finger Ease, guitarists used WD-40. Everyone was elated when non-smelly Finger Ease came along. It added life to strings when playing in the salt air of Gulf Coast casino ships in the early 2000's. This product has been around since 1963, and the packaging has barely changed in 60 years [see image] - does that tell you how many people REGULARLY use it? Still very reasonably priced, and as much a ritual as popping a Fisherman's Friend lozenge in my mouth for the voice.

The importance of finger ease
My fingers were killing me. And we used to use this on our guitars when I was a young man. I guess I’m finding out the importance of finger ease

It works well as advertised, but...
Cleans and lubricates the strings, makes them sound better and last longer, as advertised. Does it improve my playing, as promised? It has, when I sprayed the back or the neck with the stuff, and then polished it as suggested by the manufacturer, because my hand can glide faster and easier up and down the neck. However, guitar polish applied to the back of the guitar neck seems to work even better for me, and I'd much rather use guitar polish on the necks of my expensive guitars (Gibson Les Paul and Ovation acoustic/electric) than any string lubricant. Don't spray this stuff directly onto your strings. You don't want it on your guitar, and all over everything else near it. Spray it onto something like the applicator sold with "D'Addario Accessories XLR8 String Lubricant/Cleaner" or maybe new and clean shoe polish applicator.

Been using this stuff for years
This string lubricant is excellent - I put a bandana below my bass guitar strings and spray them liberally. Then you can take that same bandana immediately after spraying and briskly wipe the back of the guitar neck, which slickens it up and allows you to move up and down the neck with ease. This stuff has saved my fingers a lot of trouble. Your fingers will glide on the strings much more easily, thereby reducing friction between your fingers and the strings - and, as a result, less wear on your skin and less likely to cause a blister. If you've never tried it, it's worth it!

Best of all guitar string lube products.
It's good before playing and after playing. Sprayed on a cloth you can rub out the gunk, rust and grease accumulations right out with a squeaky clean feeling. I use to buy this accross the border in US some 35 years ago and used this for years. It never damaged my guitars and even sprayed the back of my necks to avoid the sticky feeling. Never caused problems to my guitars, electrics and acoustics. It's to guitars like a chalk block is to a pool stick. I could not find it anywhere anymore. Glad to have found it here available again. Very good product.

Great stuff
I’ve used this product for decades. It’s a micro lubricant that does several things. Stops fret wear. Lubes nut and bridge for better string travel which makes for better tuning stability. Really helps a stock Strat tremolo sys. It’s fast and easy to treat neck and bridge. In Canada it’s very hard to find anymore so I have to pay this very high price, which I believe is the shipping work around. There are problems with some carriers delivering chemicals across border. This option was right on time. A can lasts me at least a year, so it’s not that bad. Considering how expensive most of my equipment is this is nothing. It will slow fret wear. I never get that ruff feel from strings cutting frets. As far as helping finger pain or noise I can’t say. That not at all why I buy it. Great product.
