Best hard hat on the market.
I still say the msa skullguard is the best hard hat on the market. Unless you have to wear the type 2 hard hats with the chin strap, this is the one to buy. Lighter weight than other traditional hard hats, and it takes a beating well. Plus it looks awesome! Comes in a full brim too.

Highly Recommended
Great hard hat. My son bought and returned so many hard hats until he found this one. All the others would not work with his welding helmet. It was a little pricey compared to others, but is great quality.

My husband has had this hardhat twice now. The first time he ordered the standard size and it lasted him almost five years of occasional use and still looked new. It was maxed out (on the loosest setting) and gave him headaches until he realized they made a large size. The large fits him perfectly (he normally wears 7 3/4 in fitted baseball hats). It functions as it should for a hardhat and is well-made. He prefers this style over all others; in fact, it allows him to express his individuality while at work and stand out from a crowd of standard white hardhats. Pricey as heck (almost double what we paid five years ago) but you can't put a price on safety!

Classic, serious work helmet
There's a reason you see these on sizable construction projects. They are a serious working tool for people who need serious head protection.Very lightweight. Very comfortable, although I may try a different Fast Trac suspension just to get a bit lower of a fit on my head.Be aware, though, that the natural tan/brown has a slight bulls-eye sort of effect where it's dipped or died or whatever coloring process is. And this slight bullseye effect is most often not centered on top of the hat. It irritated me at first, but you don't wear a hard hat for a fashion statement, and after a few scuffs or stickers, you seriously don't even notice it.A+ from MSA. I tried the Dax Lift carbon fiber helmet and it was so stinking small I sent it back. MSA offers sized helmets, which means they're serious about proper fit and safety.

Wasn't painted a the way on the outside. It might have needed another coat. Hat is always flawless though
