Grabber Buddy [48 Inch] Reacher Pick Up Tool w/Dual Powerful Magnets, Ergonomic Turning Handle & Rubber Tips

This thing is great! We have a deck that sits lower to the ground and despite the plants around the base, balls always end up under it from the kids. I finally got tired of replacing lacrosse, tennis, and sling balls and ordered this grabber instead. It works well for grabbing anything under the deck and we’ve also pulled out other miscellaneous things that the previous home owners got stuck under there. We also have a king size bed and a cat who runs off with hair ties and other things that always end up underneath the bed in the exact middle. This works well for grabbing those as well. It’s definitely a handy device to have around and has paid for itself in retrieved balls and hair ties :)

I’m currently in a wheelchair after back surgery. And this grabber tool is just long enough to pick up my things I drop. Such as eye glasses, my phone, the TV remote control. One time I dropped the remote control and the batteries fell out. However! This tool (with a magnet at the end of the grabber stick) will magnetically pick ‘em up! So until I am more mobile with my back and can bend over then I will be fine, but this tool is the best on the market! Sturdy, easy squeeze open/close and just press button to release handle angle!! ALSO, do not hesitate to get the 48”!!! I tried the 36” and it is just too short!

Update 9/11/20 - As much as I wanted this to work for me, I am extremely disappointed with the poor quality. The second one I bought broke where the plastic handle attaches to the aluminum tube. Duct tape salvaged it for a few more days, but if the handle isn’t properly aligned with the tube, the grabbing mechanism won’t retract, making it impossible to grab the item. Sorry, but I would gladly pay twice as much for something to last me at least a year. I have to confirm its one-star rating.I am tall, so I appreciated the reach this has. The handle is different than most, but it felt comfortable after 10 minutes of use. It easily picked up 1/2# avocados and the silicone pads helped to grab even very thin twigs. My first one started having trouble returning to open position after 2-3 days. A little WD-40 seemed to get it back to normal, but then a day later one of the two grabber hands snapped off, rendering it useless. This was after maybe 8 hours of use. Hence the single-star rating, But I liked it so well until it’s demise, that I bought another in case the problem was a fluke or operator error. So far the new one has not had the same problems, and perhaps I can upgrade the rating after a reasonable period of time. I really want to like it, but it might just be poorly made Chinese crap.

THIS REACHER IS MUCH MUCH LONGER AND DOES HAVE THE SAME SIZE "JAWS " AS THE MEDLINE REACHER HAVE USED FOR MANY YEARS . EVEN MORE THAN THE LENGTH THOUGH , THIS GRABBER BUDDY REACHER IS EASIER TO USE AND HOLD ON TO AND MOVE OBJECTS BETTER WITH ITS INCREASED NEW DESIGN ALLOWING ME TO PICK UP AND MOVE OBJECTS BETTER THANI COULD BEFORE INCLUDING CANNED GOODS , PLASTIC AND PAPER GROCERY BAGS , AND CLOTHES ON AND OFF HANGERS IN MY CLOSETS. I BOUGHT TWO OF THEM AND RECEIVED SOONER THAN I EXPECTED THEM ,WELL PACKED AND WRAPPED. AND IN GOOD CONDITION .
