The Kale Smoothie of Manifestation Books
Are you really good at something? I am really good at a few things. Fitness and nutrition, for example. I have been deeply involved in fitness and nutrition for over 25 years. I have tried just about everything that wasn't so idiotic I feel like I needed to offer a disclaimer or explanation just for trying it out. Because of this, I really know what works and what doesn't. I know that just about every single advertised "weird trick" for exercise, diet, or supplementation is a revived concept from a decades ago or refried snake-oil. If you asked me to tell you what works, I could boil it down to less than 2 pages of high-impact, no BS, material*. Kinda like a kale smoothie. Straight up good stuff with no unnecessary bells and whistles. If you have something that your have been very familiar with for several years, I bet you could do the same thing if someone asked you for advice in that area.Enter "Doing Magic."This book is a kale smoothie. It was written by somebody who has obvious expertise in manifestation and is capable of and interested in providing "nutrient dense" information. As you read, you can not only feel her enthusiasm, but the respect she has for her time and yours. As such, she just gets down to brass tacks. "Here is what to do 1,2, 3" and "Here is how you can screw this up." She does do some explaining, I think mostly because she wants to remind you to cultivate yourself as a human being first, when a lot of people would rather just get lottery numbers. I really enjoyed the self work in her first book "Becoming Magic," but I think Doing Magic had to be created almost as a comfort measure or a temporary bridge until the reader has the confidence to do things for their own self. The book is very short and you can read it in an hour or so. You should absolutely read "Becoming Magic' first. The grounding effect you get from taking her advice in that book is nearly priceless in it's own right. While I am sure you can start a technique the same day you read "Doing Magic," I really think you should honor the author's recommendation to take the time to do the character work and start small. Otherwise, you're washing down that kale smoothie with a slice of pizza. And, yes, magic did happen to me today. *I will also tell you that 95% of people would read those pages and do one of 2 things: 1) Try it..."their way" or 2) go buy a weird trick or some refried snake oil. Why? Because those pages will make mental and physical demands. They will ask you to evaluate your current situation and mind set and then require you to reprogram yourself. They will ask you to fundamentally change a lot of what you think and do. This is HARD. The other 5% would do just what I said and in about 3 months people would be asking them for advice. See, when you buy that 'one weird trick', you are asking what it can do for you in exchange for a few coins. What can really expect in return? When you decide to knuckle down and fully give of yourself first, then the Universe has got your back in spades.Be warned:"Doing Magic" asks you to give some you as well.Enjoy your new life!

I'm Loving This Book!! (And her 'Be Magic' as the precursor book)
I really am enjoying this book (reading it a third time now, highlighting more and more passages) but NOT because the key points the author states is anything new to me. I’m enjoying it so much because she is very much REINFORCING and ENRICHING the key points I’ve learned and have been implementing, from the likes of Wayne Dyer, Byron Katie, Eckhart Tolle, Gregg Braden, Abraham-Hicks, Bashar, Neville Goddard and others. What key points? One: The Universe is responding to however we FEEL.Two: Each of us is always determining however we feel. How we feel is NOT due to circumstances or what others say or do (or don’t say or don’t do). Once this is truly understood, it becomes a very powerful IDEA that a person can work with, to improve how they feel, and thus, improve what they manifest.Three: When you’re in the state of WANTING something you’re actually in a LACKFUL state, perpetuating NOT HAVING what you are WANTING.Four: Maybe THE key to manifesting like you want to is, as the author states, becoming someone who is more and more in the RECEIVING state of being. Now, all that being said, I don’t recall if the author made one other key point: Which is: NO one has to learn to MANIFEST. We are ALL already manifesting. In fact, everything we experience, have experienced or will experience ARE our individual manifestations. This is important to understand so that you don’t fall into the idea that you have to LEARN to manifest. What needs to be learned is, you are already a MASTER manifestor, and so is everyone else. What you are NOT a master of is, you haven’t mastered how to manifest what you WANT to manifest. And that’s what this book is all about. And, to me, does a great job of teaching. (But that might be because I’ve already heard the main principles countless times, from many great teachers, as I said earlier.)Now then, if you want another, completely free source, you can get ‘Your Invisible Power” by Genevieve Behrend, over the Internet as a pdf book. If you don’t know who she is, she was Judge Troward’s ONLY student. (And if you don’t know who Troward is, he was maybe THE teacher of this ‘stuff’ decades ago.)

This Magic works!
I took these books seriously and did exactly what the author said was necessary. Read book 1 several times and absorbed it into my consciousness. I wasn't in a hurry. So then I took to book 2. And again read it a couple of times abd set up my 'grateful' routine (which I found immensely uplifting). That was just over a month ago. Since then 2 of the colleagues I have been praying for just strolled into my life as they were needed and have become my beloved colleagues in the exciting musical works we are getting out. These books are a blessing, if you are grateful for all experiences and follow their directions implicitly.
