Calgon Anti-Limescale 4 in 1 Powder 500 g

After Calgon discontinued its powder water softener, I had big problems with my laundry in the hard water. The first time I added this, I used 2 tablespoons for a full load, and had to rinse twice because there was so much soap left in the towels. The next time, I used 1 tablespoon and half as much soap, and the towels rinsed clean and were softer than they had been in years. When you realize how little you have to use, and how much it saves on laundry soap, it's not really expensive.

This product is COMPLETELY in another language, so don't expect to be able to read instructions etc. This was frustrating to me because it's a new to me product, but I was able to find some uses online in English to use. Also this box is much smaller than I anticipated, but that's my bad for not reading. I bought to use with Borax, and a washing soda, and its about 1/3 of the size of those boxes. Just something to be aware of.

I use half the recommended amount and it has worked fabulously. Yes, it’s expensive— it’s coming from Europe to the U.S. I only use it on towels and blankets and anything starting to smell musty. Kills the yeasty smelling bacteria after one wash. Will buy more.

Arrived quickly. Helps with hard water in my area. Didn't realize how tiny the box was and that's my only gripe really as it's quite expensive per ounce and you'll run out of it fast.

I use this to clean my electronic air purifier and it has a pleasant smell and cleans the scum.

I make my own laundry detergent. My friend told me she uses Calgon due to hard water. But I use it for stains and to help dissolve Borax. Plus it has a pleasant scent.
