This is a nice bed with a good finish. It's easy to assemble, and the instructions are straightforward. The only issue we have is the slat size; the bottom slats (where the mattress rests) are close to a foot apart. This makes the bed mushy for bigger (heavier) guests. We put plywood on the bottom, but now it's quite firm.

The bed was a great price. The delivery came much earlier than projected (always good). The bed was much easier to put together than I was anticipating. The bed looks good all set up, and seems very solid. My son loves it after sleeping on a bunk bed for his whole life, and he commented that it doesn't look to girlish for him.

I'm in the process of having this item returned under the Amazon A to Z Guarantee claim. The trundle bed is too high and does not meet up with the daybed portion. The trundle does not collapse enough for a standard sized twin mattress to fit and slide under the daybed, even though the description states "Accepts twin size mattresses". Also, the trundle is very difficult to pop up and lower. It takes two people to lower the trundle. Drill holes in bars on daybed portion are not aligned for proper fit.

When we got this bed the trundle did not work right, I just thought it was because I did not get a good grip. Now there is part of the trundle that is broken and we are going to have to get it welded before we can put it up again. Very bad investment.

This daybed is reasonably well constructed and assembled easily. But, it has two significant flaws. The slats that support the mattress on the bed frame are too narrow and widely spaced to provide adequate support. I had to add a plywood platform. And secondly, the included pop-up trundle does not align at the same height. It's more than two inches higher. I had to make custom stilts for the bed frame to get them to line up. On the upside, that allowed me to use thicker mattresses.

It was easy to assemble with my husband and I and it looks just like the picture. We are pleased with the overall quality, but slightly annoyed that the pop-up trundle does not match the height of the daybed itself. We bought two of the same mattresses, but there is about a 2" difference in height. We are going to buy a bunkie board and hope that it solves the problem. When buying a mattress for the trundle, you do have to pay attention to the clearance under the bed. You can't buy a really thick mattress for it, otherwise it won't fit.

The day bed arrived in two boxes the trundle was in it's own box -opened the day bed box and the instructions were missing emailed the company and received the instructions very quickly. My husband and myself put the bed together with no problems, Very nice looking and sturdy very happy with the purchase and the companies response

We received the bed and it is as described. it was easy to put together. The trundle is already put together. I have asked the seller to list dimensions for the mattress and he tells me he will do that. I am pleased with the response by the seller to the questions I had. This seems to be a great bed for the price, especially with the pop up.
