Pen feels great, feels expensive, not to mention I get tons of compliments on how heavy and how well it writes. Love the fact that I’ve had it for almost a year and it’s compatible with the Pilot ink refills and it’s thin unlike other brands that are bulky. Would love it even more if this particular design had a titanium option. But other than that this is an amazing pen.

Really great value for the money, easily takes G2 refills, had to nailfile a little off of the 0.5mm plastic around the tip but no major issue. This pen will certainly last a lifetime, and has a very heavy feel to it, if that's your preference. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a durable pen with readily available refills.

I was surprised about the Bolt action. I am used to the click to engage the cartridge and I have no issue to use the Bolt action. I even like it a lot.I like it take G2 cartridge. I like the aesthetic, smooth without being slippery at a good price.The only downside is being top heavy.

I have to complement Smootherpro here. This pen is an exceptional value. It's well built and designed using heavy grade, high quality materials to give you an outstanding writing experience. I was looking for another bolt action pen that uses Pilot G2 refills and Smootherpro is actually one of the only good options out there besides Tactile Turn of course. The action is super smooth due to the stainless steel build, which feels very substantial in the hand. This is a full size pen at 5.5 inches and does have a muted glass breaker on the top. This isn't a thin pen but is very similar to a Tactile Turn in thickness, I've got 12 bolt action pens in my collection and this Smootherpro is as good as any of them from any OEM. This pen has my highest recommendation. These will make great gifts and I will be purchasing more.

The pen is built very nicely and is fantastic after a couple of modifications. First, lube the bolt with a light grease. Replacing the spring with a stronger/longer spring also makes the action more satisfying. Third, adding blue threadlocker to the bolt handle and cap will help them stay fastened over hundreds of actuations.The clip design says "Smootherpro" which was a disappointment. Although I don't use a clip anyhow so I removed it.

There are lots of good pens out there, many are expensive. This pen looks way more pricey than it is and take easy to get great gel refills.

Solid, Steel, Takes Pilot G2 or Fisher Replacements. Easy to disassemble for cleaning, and bonus has the carbide tip for glass in an emergency. This will literally last a lifetime. A bit heavy, but once you're used to it, other pends feel weird. Love It which is why I bought a backup for just incase.

Very high quality, I place my G2 cartridges and they fit perfectly!
