Thoughts about this pump as well as the similar Intex AC and battery pumps
This little thing works like a champ. I've filled up airbeds and various kinds of river and pool tubes with it. It works on large holes and on the small flexible plastic ones that can be filled by mouth. The smallest tip fits those little openings, and if you turn it the right way and push it in far enough, it will fill it pretty fast. When you're using a larger tip or no tip at all, it fills very fast. The directions say not to run it more than ten minutes at once and to give it ten minutes rest before reusing it. I didn't realize this at first and used it for probably 20 minutes with little break, as I filled half a dozen tubes. The motor got hot, but it worked fine and it worked later for another 20 minutes, and the next day. So while I'll try to follow the directions to preserve the motor life, it at least held up to a beating already. It also works excellently to remove pretty much all the air from tubes--though this isn't usually necessary for Intex tubes and beds since they deflate fine by just unscrewing or popping off the cap. For the kind you blow up by mouth though, just attach the tip to the other opening from where it normally sucks air to pump into the tube or bed. It will then pull air from the object and expel it back into the general atmosphere. It is extremely helpful for deflating inflatables with those small opening plugs. I have the 12v DC version of this and the normal AC plug version (the small one that looks like this), as well as a two battery ones that came with air beds I've bought. They all work about the same, though their fill-rates vary, obviously. It's really a waste of money to use the battery one too much unless one is using rechargeable batteries (which at 1.2 volts instead of the 1.5 that Alkaline are, might not work for the pull the motor puts on it--I'm just guessing). However, I like to top off airbeds with the battery one while they're in a tent, since the plug-in ones are inconvenient at that point. Also, be careful of using the AC pump with a power inverter in a car. You need a decently powerful power converter to run it since the starting energy pull is around 200 watts, I believe. The little power inverter I own couldn't run it, so I got this DC pump for car use. Battery Pump: Intex Quick-Fill Battery Air Pump (6 C-cell Battery), Max. Air Flow 13.4CFM Small AC Pump: Intex Quick-Fill AC Electric Air Pump, 110-120 Volt, Max. Air Flow 21.2CFM Or a larger but (currently) cheaper and faster Intex AC pump: Intex Quick-Fill AC Electric Air Pump, 110-120 Volt, Max. Air Flow 38.9CFM

Works wonderfully, no problems and it is fast!
This air compressor pump is great. Works perfect, I have used it now all summer long many times and never had an issue with it. I do not consider it that noisy either. It really pumps air in fast, life saver. And it can remove air out of items to completely deflate them for better fold up and storage. I do not know how I got by so long with out one of these. Works great in car lighter. Just make sure it is plugged into car cig lighter only, it will not work on a splitter, it will blow the fuse in seconds, only plug it directly into cig lighter by itself. Nice long extension cord.

Sturdy, Good Speed and Tethered Nozzle & Adapters Prevent Loss
I tested this by inflating a queen-size air mattress and deflating a river rafting tube and cooler float. Speed was satisfactory: each process took only a few minutes The nozzle adapter for attachments locks on with a 1/8-turn to either the inflate or deflate port. I like the on/off switch vs. simply plugging or unplugging on some other designs. Overall it feels well-made, especially for the price. Sound-wise I'd say it's equivalent to a rechargeable "dustbuster" type hand vacuum. The cord was ample to reach from the outlet in my car's center console to where I was inflating items on the ground next to it. The nozzle adapter and adapters are all tethered to the pump so they won't become lost.

Very handy and great price
I wanted a car ac plug air pump for my towing tube take to the lake without having to first pump at home. This works pretty fast and fills up a pretty big 1 person tube in around a minute or so. It has enough PSI to inflate it very well. It also deflates quickly too, deflation is very handy for saving space. The adapters fit pretty good into it but not perfectly. Not a big deal but have to hold it tightly. They seem to fit most any type of inflatable without a car or bicycle type valve. It definitely wont work for bikes or car tires. For the price I paid, which was 2/3rd the price of a similar one at the marine store, I am very happy with it. I don't know how long it will last, but as far as usefulness it can definitely inflate most plastic inflatables like air mattresses, tow tubes, etc. It's not super loud but not quiet. Seems like it's decent construction quality. If it lasts a few years it's worth it.

Great for inflating Intex river tubes!
This pump inflated my River Run 1 in 95 seconds flat. 80 seconds for the main tube, 15 seconds for the head rest. It's even quicker when deflating in vacuum mode. The main base attachment for the nozzles have a nice "keyed" twist and lock feature to hold it onto the pump. The price is fantastic as well ($9.99 w/ Prime shipping). If you do river tubing (or need to inflate anything similar) and want to inflate w/o using bulky pumps, compressed air, don't have access to a truck to haul inflated tubes, etc., feel confident this pump will inflate your Intex tubes quickly and reliably!

Powerful little DC pump to the rescue!
Perfect pump for car. We use this when we take our double tube to float down the river. The double is too large to inflate ahead of time and fit it in the car to get to where we put the tube in the water. Little DC electric pump to the rescue! We can now inflate the tube when we get there! We also use a double-decker queen air mattress when we camp. We never have to go hunting for an outlet or carry the mattress around a campground again. Just inflate it at our car! This thing is powerful and reliable!

It is really good.

This does what it says on the tin. Pumped up a single airbed in way less time and with a load less effort than huffing and puffing... Probably took about a minute. Nice and firm too. Also pumped up a double in less than 2 minutes. Can be used to deflate too, which could be handy if space is an issue when packing away. My only comment would be that it's a little noisy, so you wouldn't want to arrive at a campsite after midnight and fire this baby up! Although you could always shut it in the car while it's running...

This pump worked exceptionally well. It filled a queen airbed to rock-hard in approximately 2 minutes (compared to almost 10 minutes for our AC pump). It was significantly quieter than our AC pump, as well as our camping partners' DC pump. I still wouldn't say you could run this at night while camping and not feel guilty about it. Its not silent by any means. But its quiet compared to other pumps I've used/heard. Even at home for the guest room we don't use our AC pump anymore, we break out the battery pack and run this little beast. The nozzle adapters are easily lost since they're not permanently attached. I recommend snapping them together with their umbilical around the power cord when they're not attached to the pump nozzle itself. The first time we used this it seemed really slow. But we discovered we had the polarity on our 12V connectors reversed (home made cables, definitely not the pump's fault). Being a DC pump it'll run backwards if you connect it backwards with some janky cabling like I did. It'll still pump air in the right direction but its extremely inefficient. Haven't tried using this to deflate an airbed yet, but the inlet has a pretty strong vacuum. I bet it would pump it down an air-bed really quick if you were going for minimum packed-size.
