adorable and educational
This is a cute thin coloring book. I got it for my niece whos very curious about everything. When she first saw it, she noticed it was a coloring book and didn't seem interested at all. But then when she realized it was more, it got her interested. Though this book is listed as a coloring book, it really is nice to have even without coloring. The illustrations are very nice and looks pretty even without the coloring. The content is what makes this very special. There are 16 characters in the book. The characters as they are kids which makes it much more relatable. The thing I love the MOST about it is the careful thought taken to make sure this book was inclusive and diverse. I was very pleased to see it even had an Asian person! It had males and females. And it had a lot of variety of roles from artist to scientist. This is a good book for your little someone that inspires to be someone. The only thing I was shock at was how thing it was. But reading about 16 folks is actually kind of enough for a child. These are the people featured in the book:David BowieElla FitzgeraldFrida KahloGreta ThumbergMartin Luther King JrAudrey HepburnMuhammad AliGeorgia O'KeefeeZaha HadidMaya AngelouBruce LeeAgatha ChristieAmelia EarhartStephen HawkingRosa ParksI definitely will try to find more things by "Little People". It's adorable and educational.

Very cool! Great pictures to color plus a story for each person
We have a ton of these books, though only a couple for the people in this coloring book (Muhammed Ali, Zaha Hadid, Martin Luther King Jr., Greta Thunberg.) This books has 15 two page spreads dedicated to the subject of the many Little People, Big Dreams books--the first page is a truncated biography and the second is a large portrait with background of the subject drawn in the style of the books. The pictures are so cool, I almost hate letting my 5 year old color them as he tends to scribble. I also really like that I can introduce my son to new subjects that he is unfamiliar with (as he doesn't have those books.) The selections in this book are pretty diverse, both by gender, genre, relative fame, age, etc. It's really a great coloring book. You don't need to have the books to appreciate this coloring book, though I bet after getting this coloring book, you will want to get some of the books.

Love the Diversity
The "Little People, BIG DREAMS Coloring Book" is a great book. The book is said to be for children 3+ years but I personally believe that it really is suited for children who can read well enough to enjoy the whole experience so possibly 7-8+ . There are 15 dreamers to learn about and can color. Each dreamer has two pages. One is the bio for dreamer - when they were born and died, what was their occupation, something about when the dreamer was a young child, etc. The second page is to color sometimes there are hint for a color to be used because it was a favorite of the dreamer , other times you are on your own. I love the fact that there is so much diversity in this book. A good way for kids to learn and appreciate people no matter what sex, race, occupation or dream they are/have. The book is 11 inches in length and 8.5 inches in width. The cover and pages are very sturdy.

Slim, but cute
The Little People, Big Dreams series created by Maria Isabel Sánchez Vegara now contains more than forty books, as well as various compilations, dolls, and other material - such as this coloring book. This coloring book takes material from 15 of the previous books, with each person's name, an identifying title, birth and death years, and a short bio opposite a page to color. The biographies are cute and often make a thematic suggestion about how the page might be colored. Even after the pages are colored in, kids might want to reread their favorite bio (or have someone buy the full book for them). The art has lots of nice, big spaces for young hands to fill in. The cartoonish styles from various artists are cute, but I think the majority don't look particularly similar to the people they are supposed to represent. They're most recognizable by the iconography around them.I think a nice range of figures are included. There are people famed for science, art, sports, activism, or some combination of notable work. There are men and women, white, Black, Hispanic, and Asian people. With only 15 people featured, I like that an effort was made to include such a variety of inspiring people.I do think that at only 15 coloring pages (with the opportunity of the graphic borders on the facing pages), this coloring book is extremely slim for the price. The Little People, Big Dreams series easily has enough material to double the size of this coloring book.

Fun and Educational
This book, Little People BIG DREAMS coloring book, is adorable! This coloring book goes along with a Big Dreams book that has your little one filling out Information about themselves and what their dreams are. This coloring book has 15 famous people that they can color but it also has some information about this person so it's also a miniature history coloring book. I've taken two photos of my favorites in this book which are Frida Kahlo and Georgia O'Keeffe. Which I'll be reading to my five year old granddaughter. I want her to learn about these 15 people but also my favorite artists in the book. Since I'm also an artist, it's only normal that I gravitated towards them. A really informative coloring book that is so fun and educational at the same time.
