Everything you need for a beginning in animation!
I discovered this kit after a flipbook assignment in a college class and fell in love with how easy and accessible everything is. The light pad is bright and vivid and it comes with everything you need to make your flipbook, even several lengths of pegs to add onto if needed.

Most Parts Were Missing, Now Fixed
Current review: I like this product. It IS simple and it DOES come with little instruction. But it is good for the purpose. And after the original shipment was a disaster a replacement arrived promptly.Original review: Most parts were missing from the box. And now they expect ME to do the legwork to return this piece of junk to them?! Unsatisfied.

Came in a plain brown box!!
This Flip Book Kit was exactly as described, and everything was included... BUT, I was giving this as a gift, and it came in a completely plain brown box, no image on the outside, and no paperwork on the inside! No instructions, ideas or pictures!! I actually printed a photograph off the internet and glued it on the cover of the box! Then, I found flip-book instructions and printed them out to include them in the box. This isn’t a problem if buying for yourself, but as a gift... you might find something better.

Almost perfect
The on/off controls are very easy and touch friendly. The brightness levels are great. Nice that it came with the paper and bindings i needed. The paper size is good for flip booking and it flips well. You get a good quality product for the price.It would be great if it had positioning for the papers so that they lined up to trace. I have to pick them up and "stack" them in the corner so the papers line up perfectly.

Wish I would have gotten this one first!
I recently bought a different light box for my son and then found he needed the little pads of paper with the screw together things. I got on Amazon to buy the pads and found that I could get three pads with a whole bunch of screws to make different sizes AND it included a very portable light box. We already have a light box but I figured why not since it was just a few dollars more and then my daughter can have it. As it turns out this one is better and less expensive than the original one I bought! He said the light is easier on his eyes and he really likes that it's super easy to carry around. Highly recommend this!

Was not worth money.
It just came in a plane card board box with no instructions. I was giving this as a gift but now have to find some sort of storage container thats suitable. I should have read more reviews.

Great gift for person who is interested in creating flipbooks w/out manually cutting your own paper.

Hello, I am my dad’s son and he wanted me to write this review because I use it. I really like the three levels of brightness and how it comes with nuts and bolts for the other flipbooks. One of my flip books are called “When Humans Fly”. It is a person becoming a balloon and then a kid grabbing the string and flying away.

The package didn’t have the screws as shown in the photos and description
The order description and the product that got delivered doesn’t match… there are no screws at all which make these flip book completely non-usable
