My washer stopped filling with water and the leftover water does not drain. Anyone else had this problem that this part fixed?

Our Samsung stops mid cycle and unlocks. This happens between the wash and spin cycles. Most of the water drains, but we think it still thinks there is water so it won't move on to the spin cycle. We can push the start again and finally get through the entire cycle after multiple stops. Replacing this part did not change what happens.

Will this fix the 4E code ? My washer stops filling and shows this code

I don't know , I never had this code . I bought it only because I had to increase amount of water , and the original sensor was bad.
