It works, but it's not a solution
This stuff works, but it's not a fix for a new sole and wears off quite quickly. Over a 4 game set you'll need multiple reapplications for consistent slide and even then, your slide can become inconsistent from frame to frame. You're better off just replacing soles and keeping new soles on hand.
