SeaQuest DSV (Season 3) ( SeaQuest 2032 ) [ Blu-Ray, Reg.A/B/C Import - Australia ]

With this purchase I now own all three seasons, and I swear that they missed an episode at the end of season two, the episode that links season two to season three. The previews at the beginning of season three show an episode that I vaguely remember seeing on TV, but it's not part of my season two DVD set. Regardless, it's nice to have the whole series, and the transfer to DVD is just fine (no HDTV when this was first aired). This was such a unique and entertaining series, and so topical and current (like the original Star Trek), but unfortunately, at the same time SO far-fetched that it stretched beyond believably, even in it's original airing, that I'm sure that's what killed it. The special effects were also better in the first two seasons. Shades of the dystopian movie plots that are so common now. There's also huge continuity problem with Piccolo's character in this season, since he doesn't have gills anymore, and that really made his character unique and valuable to the boat when he was first introduced.

From my experience and some of the other purchasers, there seems to be a quality control issue at the manufacturer on this one. Disk 4 had two unreadable episodes, even when tried on three different players and a DVD/BluRay drive on PC the episodes failed to play. Overall, a good TV series, a bit of a disappointment here due to the inability to view the entire series.

Very pleased to have an officially released dvd set of season three. Still surprised that after releasing season one and season 2, Universal never released this in the U.S. which would have been region 1. This is an Australian region 4 but it is fully compatable with players in the United States. I just finished watching all 13 episodes on the 4 discs and they all played flawlessly. As someone previously noted it’s a shame this season was cut short as I found the episodes very entertaining.

I am so excited to finally get the final season of seaQuest on DVD with seaQuest 2032. There are a lot of gems int his third and final season. Michael Ironside's introduction to the series as a replacement for the recurring Roy Scheider and Michael York as the bad guy added a new dynamic to the show. I was sad to see the season and series cut short.

Low end budget copy and not much in terms of features. For the amount of waiting time it took to come out with and how much it cost, it really should have been better... I felt like my money was wasted and the shipping protection was absolutely pathetic...

I've been looking for this series for soooo long. I first saw parts of Season 3 years ago. I've been looking at stores but could never find it. Season 3 has a all new theme song along with Michael Ironside. After the last couple of episodes of Season 2, I couldn't wait to binge-watch Season 3. I now own the complete series. Here again Amazon came thru with a great price and a great delivery schedule......Amazon even delivered on a Sunday....Totally unbelievable in this day n age. Whats not to LOVE...…..

This is region 4, however it is recorded in NTSC, not PAL, and I had no trouble playing it on my Sony BD3200, (after I had converted and recorded to DVD-R, I found this out)

Item itself is great ! the packageing itself couldve been set up like seasons 1 & 2.. ( rather than slimcase) so it looks consistant on the shelf together with the other seasons..Though im just grateful for having all the episodes to enjoy the entire series.

I was disappointed when Seaquest 2032 came in as I've been hunting for a Region 2 box set and all I ever find is an NTSC version that doesn't play on British systems and this was the same again. I only want a boxset that can be played on a British system as my only copy of the series is on a set of VHS tapes. Which of course now I cannot play.

The assurance of the ability to play this set on European DVD's was somewhat optimistic. Both my players continually refused to accept the discs until one took pity on me and finally let me in. Watching at that point was no problem until I turned the set off and when I wished to restart we went through the same rigmarole of trying to get it to accept the disc. I did finally manage to watch the whole series but it was really hard work!

This is the best tv series of all 3 and the 3rd one is the best ok. And other people will like it ok.

Been waiting for this release a long time to complete my collection. Good enjoyable series.

I returned this DVD seaQuest DSV season 3 for full refund beacuse Region one done not work on my DVDplayer
