Fast Times at Ridgemont High [DVD] [2016] [Region 1] [NTSC]

In today's "woke" times some of the humour and nudity might be frowned upon. However, this movie basically tells the story of some high school kids growing up in suburban America in the early 80s. It's well cast and some of the actors went on to big things. Part of the story deals with teenage pregnancy and abortion (which seems almost casual in this script). The soundtrack music is excellent. Kids watching it might be more careful to use contraception afterwards!

Enjoyable. Very interesting watch from point of view that it's an early Cameron Crowe film with a young ensemble cast who almost all went on to have great careers. Can see seeds of much bigger 80s/90s teen films being sown here. For example, no Bill & Ted or even Wayne's World without Sean Penn's stoner character???

Subtitles did not line up to what the characters were saying. Even with headphones on had different understanding what was being said. I was looking forward to watching this film. Very disappointed for any deaf person who may want to watch this, don’t waste any money on it.

Good movie not the best however

great movie -funny -real teenage feelings and anxieties -warmth -great soundtrack -full of young future top actors -and yes -the phoebe cates bikini scene -great extras also -excellent bluray
