Does what it's supposed to but not perfect.
2018 gmc Sierra with eassist. If you want something that you plug in and basically forget about, this works like it's supposed to. However it's not perfect. It does turn off the auto stop and the DOD. When slowing down and coming to a stop, the transmission sometimes studders (best word i can describe it). If you don't mind a few extra seconds (without the Range device) put the transmission in L and select the highest gear available. This keeps the auto stop off and it stays in v8 all the time. The truck will drive normally.

Best product if you’re looking to delete DFM/AFM. With auto start stop. Just plug in a leave it. No engine lights. Simple plug and play

Truck runs better, the gas mileage went down a little but the performance makes up for the 1 mile per gallon I lost.

It does what it says, but with a few exceptions
I spent the money on this one because I didn’t want to introduce any surprises by going with a cheaper product that isn’t supported by Holley. It works great 90% of the time. The other 10% it doesn’t do anything. I usually find out at the first stop of my drive when the engine auto stop cuts the power and the engine stops running until I take my foot off the brake. I’m not sure why I am getting that intermittent problem, but hey, I’m gaining .000000000001% gas mileage and saving the planet at the same time, so it’s totally worth it.

YOU NEED THIS.
2016 Cadillac Escalade, 6.2, 8-speed with 108,000 miles. It seemed like after 105,000 I have been chasing that check engine light. I use SEAFOAM in the gas tank and ONLY 1 CUP in the oil just incase of those sticky lifters. I was super nervous for this but slightly excited. I had that check engine light and hard shifts. Plugged this thing in, pressed that GO button and NO ENGINE LIGHT. Car is in V8 mode. Now, when driving it, it is like being in a train and riding the rails. Transmission shift is nice and smooth to the point you dont even know execpt when looking at the rpm gauge. As much for the fuel, as long as I have half a tank im good. I will say that it has been a few days for the fill up. AWESOME.

Worth the money
Still use this everyday on my 2017 Yukon. I've had it so long I forgot that they are supposed to cut down to 4 cylinder mode. Zero issues zero hassle. Plug it in. Boom it works as described. Completely disables the 4 cylinder mode without any check engine light etc.

Range Technology AFM / 5.3L Tahoe with the heavy-duty towing package
Purchased this Range Technology AFM disabler for a Tahoe with 5.3L V8. My Tahoe would drop into the 4 Cylinder mode often, very annoying. I have never gotten used to the hesitation when the engine shifts back into the V8 mode in response to my attempt to accelerate, especially from a dead stop. When driving in normal traffic situations the 5.3L FMS constantly put the engine in and out of V8 to V4 and back distracting from the driving experience. Freeway driving was another area where the 5.3L FMS would drop the engine into V4 when my foot came off the pedal or while coasting which is especially annoying while towing a 6500 lbs. RV or when attempting to pass another vehicle. Installing the Range Technology Disabler has solved these problems and I have noticed the vehicle drives much smother. Yes, it cost more than the knockoffs, but I believe it's worth it. My first AFM disabler was a top-rated knockoff brand, cheaper for sure, but I found it didn't work as I thought it should have, it kept the Tahoe's 5.3L in V8 mode but something was missing, it wasn't smooth running like I experience with Range Technology FMS disabler also there was no way to see the lights on the disabler as they were partially covered with the wrap. Remember the old saying "You Only Get What You Pay For" applies here. I am pleasantly surprised with the build quality, ease of installation and the function of the Range Technology device. Only thing I don't like, nothing in the instructions give you a clear understanding of what ALL the light functions indicates but you can go to Range Technology's web site. Also, I have had no issues with the truck's battery SOC and I have seen a slight increase in fuel economy. I do recommend this device.

Bought this as a gift for my husband for his 2016 GMC Sierra. If you don’t have one, GET ONE! He says the power is instant, no lagging anymore and fuel mileage is better!! He didn’t notice a difference in fuel mileage right away but after using it for a few weeks, he said his fuel mileage has never been better! I read some reviews to unplug it as it drains your battery. So far he has never unplugged it and has never had an issue so let’s hope it stays that way. Buy it, you won’t regret it!

I am in Australia. Ordered through Amazon. I read as many reviews I could find. Used in the Chev 1500 Silverado for a week or so and found it to be as advertised. Can't fault it at this time.

Menciona que evitará que el motor del vehículo se pare en los altos, pero continúa apagándose, no sé si la verdad funciona o no, no veo ningún cambio en el ruido del motor, o no sirve, o está defectuoso o no es compatible, lo usaré un tiempo y si no veo ningún beneficio lo regresaré
