I misunderstood the description and thought this was a "standard" rubber-bladed squeegee. Instead, the blade is thick foam folded into a double layer. I initially planned to return the product, but then thought that instead of being wasteful, I should test it. I poured water from a clean kitchen pitcher onto the garage floor, which had a brand-new polyurea chip coating. I used the squeegee to push the water out of the garage. I am glad I tried it - it worked beautifully for my purpose. It removed all standing water; it did NOT get the garage floor bone-dry, but that was not my intent. The garage floor was made in 1964; it has high and low spots, and the chip coating has a slight texture to prevent slipping. It would be very difficult to get it bone-dry. I just wanted to be able to PUSH excess water off the floor, and the squeegee did that very well. And it is EXTREMELY light in weight; I am a very small person, so that is a big benefit for me.Having decided to keep it, I attached the handle. It is a lightweight but sturdy metal handle with a foam end grip. It screws into the blade, and then a collar on the blade screws up around the connection - very sturdy. The extension mechanism does not just twist to lock - there is a collar with a tab that locks it - much better, IMHO. I then tried pushing dry leaves off the dry floor - worked great. It did make a slight "scrubbing" sound on my floor, but no annoying squeaking noises. Finally, I tried pushing WET pine needles off the floor, the ultimate test, which it did adequately. Some pine needles did get stuck in between the halves of the foam blade; I simply ran my finger down the center between the two halves of foam and removed the needles easily. I then pushed a little more water with the squeegee, and the foam blade came completely clean.I rate this squeegee 5 stars. My sole complaint is that I could not see from the photos what "dual foam eva" meant. However, I am really glad I tested it, as it will suit my purpose very well. If you need your floor bone-dry, I am not sure it will be able to do that, and I don't know how well the foam will hold up, but the price was extremely reasonable compared to many other squeegees, and it has many excellent features.

I bought this on a whim without realizing it had a foam blade, but I’m so glad I did! It’s been fantastic for cleaning our vinyl floors, especially for picking up dog hair—it works so much better than a traditional broom.This squeegee grabs everything on the floor with ease and even gets under furniture better than a broom. The foam blade has held up incredibly well, showing no signs of wear or tear so far.The adjustable handle is another great feature, making it comfortable and easy to use. Overall, this has exceeded our expectations, and we now prefer it over a broom entirely. Highly recommend!

Seems to work ok for my garage. The noise this makes is downright obnoxious

My first concern was that this would not work on a non-smooth surface. I'm so glad that I bought this. I use this on my outside patio for my dog has to go to the bathroom on a pee pad but sometimes misses. I live on the 6th floor so it's not always convenient for us to go down to the ground floor. Our patio has a textured service because I'm assuming they didn't want anyone to slip on it for liability purposes. We have a five gallon bucket of water out on the patio and some disinfectant spray for when she happens to miss. We dump water onto the patio and then are able to squeegee it very nicely. I'm so impressed with how this thing works on an uneven surface. If that's what you need this is the one to buy. I wish more people would have left reviews like this to guide me to the correct one to buy instead of having to guess but I'm glad that I guess the right one

I really like this item. It's stable and easy to use. I don't like mops that twist and turn. I was looking for something like that for a long time.

The Yocada Floor Squeegee Scrubber is a complete disappointment. The handle is flimsy and doesn’t stay extended when in use, making it difficult to clean large areas effectively. The EVA foam blade is not durable and quickly lost its shape after just a few uses, rendering it less effective at cleaning floors. The squeegee struggles to remove water from tile and marble surfaces, leaving streaks and residue behind. The telescopic pole doesn’t lock securely, and it keeps retracting while trying to clean, which is frustrating. The foam blade doesn’t glide smoothly over the surface, and I had to push very hard to get any results. It also doesn’t work well in corners, making it hard to get a thorough clean. I found myself spending more time trying to get the squeegee to work properly than actually cleaning. The design is awkward, and it’s not very ergonomic, which makes it uncomfortable to use for long periods. The squeegee is too lightweight, causing it to feel cheap and ineffective at dealing with heavy-duty cleaning tasks. It’s definitely not suitable for outdoor use or garage cleaning, as the material seems to degrade quickly. Overall, I would not recommend this squeegee for anyone looking for a reliable cleaning tool.
