Probably a great little radio but I have not had a chance to try it! Futaba discontinued the Futaba NR-4K battery pack they recommend so I am going through a big hassle having a custom battery pack made. For small models like this unit is designed for I think Futaba should provide a substitute for the small nicad that it requires.
