A good buy, BUT!!
This product was recommended by relatives. It s a good product but has some limitations. Angle adjustments are very limited due to design of the camera body. UP and DOWN angle adjustment is good but, its the side to side angle that leaves a lot to be desired. Trying accomplish a 90* side ways angle adjustment will cause the camera to disengage from its magnetic base. That`s NOT good!! To be a great product..... where the magnetic base and the camera body come together, the camera body needs to be shaped more like a sphere (tennis ball) That would be an absolute genius, thinking outside the box move for ultimate in unlimited viewing angles. Hopefully their next gen cameras will have this design. The pics and sound are good quality. with lots of other features. I have not upgraded to some other feature yet but, I will soon and we`ll see what happens then. Hope this helps.

Easy camera to install and charge
These camera were easy to install. I am very pleased with the night vision. Easy to adjust the direction you want to point camera. We don’t have a ton of traffic so battery life seems pretty good. Don’t have to charge very often with just the traffic from neighbors and family. If you do have to charge them, they are easy to take down. Just make sure to install out of reach because they are easy to take down. Captures the motion when people get close to door or point of entry. But motion detection is not great for more than 15 feet unless it’s a big object like a car.

Somewhat satisfied -
I bought this camera cause SOMEONE keeps hitting my car and I want to keep an eye on it.The performance has been okay at best.First, the camera is set up to record video and notify my via the app when motion is detected.Your either gonna get a second to a few seconds of video for a motion detection event and there seems to be no rhyme or reason to the length you will get. Often it chops up the video, (example.) You see someone enter the frame, the video abruptly ends - and on another video, you see them exit the video. Sometimes you don't even get the video where said person exits the frame.SOMETIMES, you see them walk the entire frame upon motion detection... but it's very inconsistent. It leaves me wondering if someone did hit my car, if I'd get any usable footage. On to my main complaint -The software -I downloaded the "latest' app. paired it with my camera and I'm stuck in a continuous state of upgrade. I constantly get notifications to upgrade the software, I go through the process - but it never upgrades to the newer version. It's not my connection - I've tested my connection many times and it's great. no problems with anything else...- Secondly, a lot of useful features don't work,. The ability to take screenshot pictures. It just doesn't work period. NEVER did.... I can't set the duration event to 90 seconds, (that's the amount of time it will record upon a motion detection "event) even though 90 seconds is an option. I select it and it automatically goes back to 60 seconds.. You are supposed to be able to delete motion detection videos. I was able to do it all along until JUST recently, I can't anymore. So now I have dozens of motion detection video "events" to scroll through upon a new notification - which is a pain in the ass. I've rebooted my phone, uninstalled and re-installed the software, but the delete video feature no longer works just like that - for no reason that I can come up with.I called support, got a prompt call back, (which was great) - BUT was told that on older Android phones, (mines a year old(roll eyes)) - the software has a known issue, (in fact the support person had the same issues with their Android phone) and that they are waiting for a patch to resolve said issues. So here I am, I just sunk seventy plus dollars on a devise, that while basically works, is buggy, key features used as a selling point in me purchasing the camera don't work, and I'm waiting on some upcoming patch to fix my problems - release date unknown...So yeah, I'm not even sure it will do what I need it to do at this pointOn a TOTALLY unrelated note. THERE HAS been an unexpected plus with this camera. Like I said I bought the camera to watch my car, but something rather unexpected happened. WILDLIFEI live in a Boston suburb and I've been HIGHLY entertained with almost nightly videos (middle of the night) of videos of foxes, racoons, birds pecking at the camera and cat fights...Who knew you could live less than a block from downtown, yet capture such a diverse amount of wildlife that comes out at night. The infrared camera works wonderfully and it's been immensely entertaining for my kids.So there's my HONEST review - I hope it helps.

Disappointed with this camera system
I've had this camera system for 6 months, and Im quite disappointed. Originally I wanted a camera system that was completely wireless and didnt require a monthly subscription. This met those requirements and was on sale at the time, so I purchased 3 outdoor cameras and a doorbell camera together.1. Battery Life - Its not terrible. I have to charge them approx once a month. I was hoping for a longer run time, considering I dont get a lot of traffic at my house to activate them.2. Picture quality - Its a little grainy, but for a cheap home camera, it's enough to make out a vehicle or burglars face if needed for identification.3. Sensitivity - This is a huge issue. I can walk right up to the camera, and it does not sense the motion until im in range to touch the dang thing... This means anyone could simply walk up and throw a towel over the camera and you'd never get a picture of who they are or what they're driving. It's super slow in picking up people. (I have all the settings set as sensitive as possible, and didnt change )4. App compatibility - The phone app is slower than snail mail. When I do get a notification that there is motion at my house, Im sitting there staring at my phone for what seems like an eternity waiting for the stupid thing to load the video. I have great wifi signal, and the camera is literally 15' from my router. And still the thing takes absolutely forever to load. This is complete unacceptable for protection. By the time I realize someone is breaking in, they'd already be in the house and could have me at gun point while im trying to load the application.4. Weather proof - I've already had one camera die in a rainstorm. It was attached to the side of a building under an eve, and still the water got to it and fried the camera. They say they're weather proof, but definitely not. The only ones that have survived are the ones kept under a porch.Overall, I would not buy this again, nor would I recommend anyone else purchase it. Spend the extra couple dollars for a Ring, Alexa, or some other smart camera. The toucan is quite a disappointment.
