Bought this for my BF, and he says”Best ND filter for the money. The reason you want a variable ND filter as oppose to a fixed ND Filter is because you want complete control of the light coming into your camera. The Sun does not I repeat does not shine consistently, minute by minute it changes. This filter allows you to dial in the exact amount of light you need to control the exposure. You want to lowest ISO and correct shutter speed to have the highest quality image when recording. Trust me this is my second one I’ve bought for different cameras and I am Sooo pleased with its performance. It has a slight vignette that is introduced during its use but I’m 💯 ok with that as opposed to an over exposed shot, that’s just amateur. So if you are looking to have correct exposure without cracking up your shutter to a ridiculous amount to compensate for the sub then purchase this ND filter.. it’s Super cheap and WELL worth it!!”

Got it for my demo setup that shows the power of computer vision in the production environment. The demo is mobile which means i have to move it from place to place showing it in different conditions - so the ability of fine-tuning of the light blocking without adjusting the aperture or shutter speed is priceless, i can go from a meeting room to the show floor of a huge conference and it takes me just a couple of seconds and a simple turn on the ring to adjust the entire system for the lighting conditions - it is absolutely perfect fit!

Gave this filter a shakedown on my Olympus PEN-EP5 shooting motorcycle flat track races and hot rods in Austin. Gave me the versatility to alter the light entering my lens to adjust my aperture and shutter to get the shot I wanted without risking over or under exposing the shot. Easily threaded on and off both my 14-42mm and 17mm lenses so I could switch lenses or shoot without the filter when the lights went down. Just have to get one that fits my 40-150mm lens now.

The filter will help in removing reflections of water or shiny surfaces, plus the ability to help with the exposer times for various picture effects. Screws on the end of your lens like a UV filter and has an easy to turn the metal ring to adjust the amount of neutral density from a little to a lot, so can be left on the lens as protection. the product is well made and should provide years of service.

It softens the shot a little but overall it's not bad... still useable. If you absolutely need a tack sharp image then spend the extra money and get a better filter. If not this will definitely get the job done.

Fit's and functions properly. However if you really make it dark it does cause a purple color shift. This is not an uncommon problem in all but the over $100 filters. Still a very good item.

Helpful filter for those bright sunny days. Allows you to dial in and keep your shots from being blown out. Every photographer should have a filter like this in their bag.

Slim, well manufactured and does the job. Pity it did not come with a smaller lens filter case. Very good value.

Prodotto di qualità pessima, usandolo su olympus em10 con obiettivo 12-42, alle focali meno spinte, anziché oscurarsi, forma una croce al centro del fotogramma che lo rende inutilizzabile. Arrivato con delle evidenti impronte su entrambi i vetri, che anche se sono scomparse subito usando il panno in dotazione, lasciano parecchi dubbi sulla professionalità di chi lo commercializza. Pessima anche la qualità dei materiali, toccandolo con le unghie, si cancellano i numeri di riferimento sulla ghiera.Assolutamente sconsigliato.

Resultó una excelente compra.Uso el filtro con un lente Olympus M.Zuiko 42mm con muy buenos resultados.Lo uso mayormente para la captura de video y ha sido de gran utilidad.

costruzione solida, ottima resa e vetro eccellente. Non si notano difetti o coni d'ombra nell'immagine. La regolazione della densità è fluida e comodissima. Consigliato.
