The product works extremely well
We had a flea infestation for a few weeks, and I sprayed our sidewalk that ran up to our front door on the side away from the street. Quite enclosed and narrow. The fleas were particularly bad there. It was hot last summer, so I wore white shorts and tee and flip-flops so I could get rid of fleas before carrying them into the house. Just walking down the sidewalk would get 5-10 fleas on my legs. After spraying with Ben's, only one or two would jump onto my legs and feet, and then jump right off immediately. They'd stay on the flip-flops but removing them and picking them off kept them out of the house. This was dramatic evidence of the effectiveness of the DEET-containing repellant. Also have the wipes for use in my car and backpack when walking/hiking in suspect areas. Love Ben's! NOTE: Read all the usage instructions and follow strictly. DEET works but it's nothing to play with.

It's a good value and it works; but most of all you can take it on a plane.

Poor bottle design but good spray
I like this bug spray but the bottles leak and the tops fall off. They need a bottle redesign.

A must have if you're sensitive to mosquitos
Well, the headline should say it all. I had such a problem with bites that I spent hours researching. Ben's is water based, which somehow (Science!) prevents it from breaking down in the skin the way oil based products do. And it lasts at least 3 times longer than other formulas.I researched (and tried) all the DEET free formulas, and they paled in comparison to Ben's. But what about the toxicity, you ask? It turns out that the natural formulas can pose an equal threat (particularly, to skin) - in the sense that most people are concerned for their children; ironically, in choosing a natural formula for a child, you'll most likely wind up with an essential oil that could react adversely on a child's sensitive skin, albeit rarely (same with DEET).Neither formula is entirely risk free, but as long as you prevent internal ingestion, both seem to weigh the same in terms of risk, which is objectively low. But honestly, I'd have to apply 2 or 3 times as much "natural" ointment as Ben's, and it would last a quarter of the time. Definitely use this on a hike.

Easy to apply pump spray
I was looking for a hard core but not harsh tick repellant. When our home in eastern Massachusetts was getting it's quarterly inspection and spraying I asked the pesticide guy what he used to keep himself free of insects and especially ticks which are very prevalent in the area. He opened his truck door to show me what he carried around for his own protection. It was BEN'S. He was insistent that we use a water based product. I didn't think I could ask a more experienced professional. Purchased Ben's for the first time last spring and repeat buyer for the summer as well as friends and family. Easy to apply pump spray. Not oily. I even used on my young nieces -- spraying on my hands first and then applying on their legs from the knees down. (Wash your hands after applying.) My husband and I use it on our necks, arms and legs. Again -- I spray it on my hands to apply around ears and hairline. It does not have an overwhelming smell and blends easily in. I even spray the outside of my suitcase (fabric covered) when I travel. Highly recommend.

Great stuff
This product works well. We were having problems with mosquitoes. We stayed the area and allowed it to clear. Didn’t see them for the next day or two. Worked very well

Very effective
I am very satisfied with this insect repellent. I work in my yard a lot in the summer and it is common for me to stay outside until after the sun goes down. About an hour before dusk is when my legs become "happy hour" for the mosquitoes. Ben's 30% Deet, hands down made my outdoor life so much more enjoyable. The pump spray bottle is very convenient to point and apply. Just takes 2 or 3 pumps of mist on each leg and those irritating mosquitoes are history. I sometimes will see them flying around my legs but they never land once I have applied the repellent. I don't really notice much of a smell to this and I have a fairly sensitive nose. I recommend this product 100% for mosquitoes. The 3 pack is also a great price.
