Skullcandy Sesh Evo in-Ear Wireless Earbuds - Mint

The more earbuds I look at, the more I realize what an excellent value these are. I bought them on Amazon Warehouse, which if you haven't tried, I highly recommend. It's like buying an open box product and the savings are really good. These were like new and I got them for about 40% off. When they arrived, the box was missing the charging cable, so I contacted Amazon and they gave me a $15 credit (more than generous) to buy a new one, which arrived the next day. Definitely will shop Amazon Warehouse again. Sound Quality - At first, I wasn't completely thrilled with the sound quality, but again, these are not expensive earbuds. Then I saw a video saying that if you're using the smaller size gel tips, the bass leaks out around the sides of it and you're not getting the full sound. I switched to larger gels and the sound improved dramatically. I really think I would have to go to at least a $200 earbud to possibly get better sound and then I probably wouldn't get all the features this one has that I enjoy. Touch Controls - I really wanted volume and playback controls on the earbud. Most wireless earbuds will let you control those things via Siri, Google, etc. but I wanted touch controls, and these work great. I can walk with my phone in my pocket and by touching the earbuds, control volume, skip a track, etc. Pairing with Multiple Devices - After the initial pairing, the Sesh Evo will pair automatically when you remove them from the case. Works great. But I use this regularly with my phone and with a Fire TV stick. Going between the two took a little bit of practice but I learned the trick. When you have finished with one device, just go to Settings and choose Forget this Device. I also turn bluetooth off to keep it from searching. Then the next device will pair quickly and easily. Battery Life - I've only had them a few days, but so far, I'm very impressed with the life on the buds themselves, and the case holds its charge incredibly well. Fit - The only thing about changing to a larger gel tip (see above under Sound Quality) is that they don't stay in my ears as well. In fact, one fell out in the toilet the other day. Yikes! But I put it in rice and it is working great. (Whew!) I am now thinking of using the smaller ones and just switching to larger when I am listening to songs I really want to hear in great quality. That should take care of it. Overall, I recommend these earbuds highly. Good quality sound, good battery life and fit and great controls.

I love these, they are just as nice as much more expensive brands! You can play in just one ear by starting with both, then putting one back in the charging case. I know it’s got pretty good noise canceling because my child can’t hear me when he has both on! Putting them in the case to charge can be a little finicky, but if you just wiggle each around until the lights indicate it’s charging it only takes maybe 5 extra seconds. That’s worth saving a couple hundred bucks in my opinion. The case holds a charge for a good amount of hours, haven’t run into issues yet with needing more… and the case itself is pretty sturdy, it has survived many trips thrown into a high school backpack and it’s been a couple months already. Highly recommend! Note to buyers- NEVER LOSE THE CHARGING CABLE! The case will not charge using any other cables we tried, that did fit the plug…

The Sesh Evos have a few main problems to them 1. You have to charge them upright or else they won't charge 2. There are times where even when they are upright and they don't charge. You have to mess with them till the light on them turns red, indicating they are charging 3. The right earbud doesn't hold a charge as well as the left. For some reason, after letting them charge for countless hours and both say they are at 100% the right ALWAYS dies before the left. The left dies 30 - 45 minutes later Now some Cons 1. They will scream "BATTERY LOW" in your ear most times, even when you have the volume low 2. They do have a mic you can use on them BUT the audio will turn to shit, it sounds like you are talking through a glass window to talk to someone on call. 3. The Mic isn't the best, but they are also bluetooth earbuds, so you can't expect much 4. If you have wet earwax, they will fall out your ears after some time. This is one of my main issues but it isn't a major problem since it is genetic, and not a problem with the earbuds themselves Some Pros 1. Wonderful sound quality for audios, when you aren't in a call+using the mic. I use the Sesh Evos mainly for the sound quality and that's it 2. The case for them keeps it's charge wonderfully, unless the earbuds are "charging" even when they are fully charged. I haven't tested if they last 24 hrs or not but you get about 3-4 charges out of it before it dies 3. The earbuds charge fairly quickly, they take 20-30 minutes to charge. Maybe even less, but I can have them at 100% after watching a few videos to let them charge 4. They actually have different audio settings for different sounds. They have a setting for music and movies. They do have another option but I don't remember it. I personally only use the music setting since the others don't sound right, to me at least 5. Can be fine being dropped in water (I don't recommend testing this, this was an accident on my part) I have accidentally dropped them into the sink with running water and they still run perfectly fine. The sound isn't different or anything. Once it dried out completely it sounded perfectly fine Overall, Sesh Evos are a pretty solid Bluetooth Earbud. I am a die hard Skullcandy fan and have used their wired earbuds for years before switching to their Sesh Evos. Their Sesh Evos, durability wise are amazing, but they do collect earwax quite fast. They sound amazing besides on call while you are using the mic. If you are on a Discord call and you use them for audio but use a different mic they still sound amazing, and you can hear the person clearly.

I used to be a big fan of Bluetooth headsets, the kind with the plastic loop that goes over one ear. Unfortunately I have large ears and it's very difficult for me to find one of those that fits comfortably and will stay in place. These earbuds solve that problem but they're even better. I can put one in each ear if I want or I can put one in one ear if I need to be able to hear what's going on around me, like if I'm riding my bicycle. The rubber tips that it comes with fit perfectly and, if they hadn't, there are also ear tips in smaller and larger sizes so you can pick the one that fits you best. I wish the battery life were a little longer but recharging them is a snap so it hasn't become a major inconvenience. And the sound quality is quite good. I have used these earbuds for listening to music, listening to audiobooks, taking phone calls, and recording videos for my Facebook group. While the sound quality doesn't measure up to my best headphones or microphone, they do a fine job considering the size and cost.

You'd think a brand name like Skullcandy could produce a good product at this price point. So many flaws. Here are some of them: - The packaging doesn't arrive with the earbuds stored in the charging case. They are separately mounted in custom shaped holes in the plastic box insert. Unfortunately it's very difficult to get them out of the holder without damaging the rubber earpieces. This seems a bizarre design choice -- to give the buyer a device they are likely to damage while unboxing. - The case has a USB-C socket for charging. Unfortunately, in spite of the Amazon product page and Skullcandy support pages listing a fast-charge capability, it isn't a real USB-C port and isn't compatible with the USB-C chargers you already own. You essentially have to treat it as a low-power old-school micro-USB socket of a different shape. Other reviewers on Amazon state that the manufacturer has warned them that using a real USB-C fast charger (i.e. the charger that came with your phone or laptop) may damage the device. I can confirm that connecting to a USB-C fast charger, albeit briefly, appears not to work -- the case's charging lights do not come on. So no fast charging, and no saving space by sharing a single charger between devices when travelling. I don't know how to fast charge the device, the documentation doesn't say. Regular charging is not particularly fast. - The case does not reliably charge the headphones when you put them in it. My headphones are about a week old, the charging contacts are completely clean, and yet multiple times I have taken them out of their fully charged case to be told they have a low battery (10% by my phone's measurement, and they shut down within a few minutes). Eventually I worked out that the earbuds are discharging into the battery in the case, not the other way round as designed. So any time you take the earbuds out of the case, even if it was charged, the earbuds are likely to be within 30 seconds of running out of battery. - The documentation claims 5 hours of listening time. I can get about 2 hours after a full overnight charge. This is not a whole lot if you're e.g. travelling on a plane. - The Tile functionality seems to work ok but if you make the earbuds make a sound, you're not going to hear it unless you're in a very quiet room. It plays a sound through the earbud, but it's not very loud. I'm unlikely to need to find an earbud that's already in my ear. Fortunately I bought these significantly marked down from their usual price on Amazon, but even so, it's a very disappointing product. There are lots of alternatives with less well-known brands that are less expensive and with many of the same features, but with reliable charging and better battery life. I returned the first pair of Sesh Evo earbuds under warranty, thinking I had a faulty pair, but the replacement pair I was sent had all the same issues. This is just terrible design, and certainly not worth the price.

Normally I love skull candy and their headphones, my last set of head phones, I was able to wear them for a long time and only had to buy this set because I lost one of the ear buds at work with the warranty already up. As good as my last ones were these have had problems since day one. I personally don't like how the right earbud will turn off less then a minute of no noise constantly having me turn it back on if I switch from one audio to another and don't do it in a timely manor. Currently the left earbud has decided to start cutting out during random times and not connect to the right earbud without 30 minutes worth of effort reconnecting. They sometimes will turn on randomly during charging and then not charge or it takes longer for them to charge then 10 minutes. it's been less then a year so I still have the warranty, but this had shown me the quality has gone down. If you have the money go for something better then these. If not, they do have great sound quality (if you don't accidentally turn on the setting that changes the sound quality for some reason), they are just a hustle if you use them on a regular basis.

I've been using Skullcandy headphones pretty much since I was able to choose and buy my own, from over-ear to wired ear buds, so when I decided to finally move up to wireless, I decided to give them a try again rather than buy airpods for $200 bucks when I'm not even using them for apple products. I got the Jib True first, liked them, lost them, but since they were cheap, I came back and decided to try the Sesh Evo since they were a comparable price. Naturally, I found my lost Jib True the day these came in the mail, but I've ended up using the Sesh way more. Huge improvement over the Jib True and Jib True 2. I had a lot of trouble with the Jib True falling out of my ears when I was moving around a lot, and the Sesh Evo stay in solid place comfortably without a bunch of fiddling. I've worn them for a couple hours while cleaning, bending over, twisting around a lot, and I didn't have to touch them once or resettle them. Music quality is strong, even at the lowest audible device volume, it comes through clear without deafening or whispering. Noise cancellation with both ear buds in is good too, also at lowest device volume, successfully mutes surroundings without needing volume to drown it out. Battery power is FAR superior. I love that I can tap the button on the case and check the level remaining. I've had these in and out for varying periods of time and not had to charge them more than once a week. Jib True only lasted a few days even sitting idle, but these Sesh Evo really held up and stepped it up. Would readily buy them again. Color is also great, I loved the different options available other than just white or black, and they're visible in ear without being too big or obvious, but they're also large enough to not get easily lost if you set them down outside the case. Setting them up with Tile was quick as a back up plan as well, just to make them easy to find if they do get separated. Connecting with devices was easy and quick (using them for a Chromebook and an android phone) and disconnecting simple too. I control music from my device more than from the earbud, so I can't say much about the easy of tap once for this command or hold for two seconds on that, I mostly use press once to pause audio, and the rest I do via device itself. Only issues I've had has been getting too far away from my device (phone will be on the other side of the apartment and I walk into another room on the opposite end, it might cut out for a second and then pick back up when I'm in range) but that's range, not product issue. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone that doesn't want to pay the price tag of Airpods, and to anyone that is willing to pay that much too, because these are honestly stellar quality for the price, as Skullcandy always has been, in my experience.

I've been a Skullcandy fan for many years so I will admit I am a bit biased towards them as a brand. Having said that I am very satisfied with these Sesh Evo earbuds. They are very comfortable and the sound is what I have come to expect from Skullcandy products. I have owned these for about a year now and they work just as good as they did when they were new. They have a nice charging case (USB-C connector) and have indicator lights to show you how much charge is left in the case. There is a physical button to utilize this feature. When the earbuds are in the case charging they will have red LED's lit up. When the LED's go out the earbuds are fully charged. The instructions are easy to follow and memorize. Skullcandy also includes a simple card showing the controls and how they are operated. The sound quality is very good and pretty loud for earbuds. The bass is sufficient but obviously does not match what you would get from a full sized set of over the ear headphones. They come with different sizes of ear inserts so they should fit pretty much everyone. I have used them for running outdoors and on treadmills and have not had one fall out. I also use them while working out in the gym and have noticed I do need to readjust them occasionally, especially while doing cross-fit type exercises where you move your head around more than normal. I have not had one fall out but I do adjust them when they start feeling loose. On the quality of these earbuds... I am more than satisfied. I do not suggest swimming with them on or anything like that but I have been out for runs in the rain and they have survived without blemish. One of the earbuds got lift in my pants pocket and went through the washing machine and the dryer and still works just as good as the day I got them (again, I do not suggest anyone do this on purpose). The quality while making/receiving phone calls is very good as well. I have asked several people if they could tell I was using a pair of earbuds while speaking to them and I was told they did not notice any difference, could hear me very clearly, as well as I could hear them very well. The battery lasts for 2 to 3 hours with continuous, non-stop use at a fairly high volume (music). I have noticed they stick closer to the 2 hour mark if you use them for phone calls and music. An hour or two in the case will charge them back up nicely. You can also charge them while the case is plugged in and charging itself. There is no auxiliary USB plug on the case to charge other electronics. These particular earbuds are not noise cancelling. All in all I am very satisfied with these earbuds and would definitely recommend them.

Its a really good earphone for it price as well but after one year of use i start having battery problems one side charge fully and the other dont
