Little thicker than original Mastercraft Motor, but, easily fits clamps and fan shaft. Takes a little time to get up to speed, but, runs good with little more than normal air flow noise. Correct replacement for P3 type, good price, fast shipping.

This was a direct replacement for my Attic Fan motor which was not working this past summer. Wiring and mounting was the same as the old motor. The specs were the same as the old motor. Motor was received as promised. Price was comparable to other motors. After installation I tested motor and it operated as intended. Will have to see how it works over next summer.

First the delivery was again left in the garage door wheel tracks. This has to stop. Running over packages is not helpful. Fortunately we saw the delivery photo before we went out.The motor is not what was pictured on the website. The wires do not match the black white hot / neutral setup in the sales picture and as present on old one and the the motor wiring does not have a controller switch attachment clip on the hot wire, again, like the picture shows on the website and as with the old one. This motor came with unrecognized metal clips that do not resemble attachment brackets on the item being replaced. I decided not to figure out how to wire / retrofit this motor into my existing controller and fan housing. Returning it.Very disappointed to have seen one thing on the website and then to have received something unlike it that I am not sure how to work with or whether it is even intended to replace the old motor or how. No instructions provided whatsoever.

Mine arrived, like many other units, with a black wire and a red wire as opposed to black and white. I saw some reviews of people bemoaning that this means the motor was DC but that's not how the world works. It's rate for 120V and you better believe it's AC (you can tell by the way it's wired and by the shape/location of the stator).I used this to replace a different nameless attic fan motor that gave up the ghost and it seems to be working okay. Buyer beware, there is no strain relief on the wire so you'll want to add your own. Fit and finish is what you'd expect for the price, which is to say, not great but acceptable.

This was a perfect replacement motor for our old attic fan which was installed in 1996. This motor was practically identical to the Leslie Locke motor with which the ventilation fan originally came. Only difference was the overall height of the new motor. Compensated during the installation by lowering the new motor a bit. Spindle length and rotation direction were correct.Quick installation note: Don’t replace during the day. Attic too hot.

The item was easy to install, I replaced a motor in my attic vent fan, it's quiet and have had no problem out of it.

Came early. Installed it the next day and runs great for now!

This fan motor fit perfectly was less expensive than any I could locate in town.
