LuciniExtra Virgin Olive Oil Collection (Premium Select Organic, 500 mL (Pack of 1))

This is great olive oil.Fresh and bright, with a wonderful depth of flavor and just enough grassy, spicy bite that you expect from a really high-quality oil.Of the major brands that you can access easily, this is one of the best out there.

I've tried other brands and even the Lucini organic product at a much higher price point, but somehow always end up back at this version for my routine cooking needs.Clean flavor and taste, or at least as much as I want or need from my olive oil.Like a lot of other stuff, Amazon makes the purchase easy and at a good price.

This is my favorite olive oil to cook with that I can get in a store. Admittedly, what you get directly from Italy when you’re there might be better, but this cooks well and doesn’t leave an oily taste on anything. It also doesn’t smoke at a low temperature which is nice for cooking.

If you go to the Lucini website, you will see that they have non-organic and organic EVOO (Extra Virgin Olive Oil). The bottle pictured here is not the organic variety although the label does say "We do not chemically treat our olives”. However, the oil that was shipped was indeed the Organic variety and not the bottle pictured here. The Organic variety is in a 500 ml (1 pint) dark glass bottle.The certified organic variety has a large red bar across it saying "Organic". They actually have two organic varieties - cooking oil and salad oil. The salad oil is called "Lucini Limited Reserve® Premium Select Extra Virgin Olive Oil 100% Organic" I have attached a picture of it from their website.By the way, California Olive Ranch acquired Lucini Italia Olive Oil in Jan 2015. Both companies saw it as a good match since they share the same standards of quality and authenticity. Both will continue to operate under their own labels.Lucini oil is wonderfully flavored EVOO. There is no comparison with some of the cheap imitations out there. Life is short - don't buy the cheap crap. If you eat better, maybe your life will be a little longer and a little healthier. This organic version of Lucini's "Premium Select" is definitely pricey, but the flavor and quality are truly impressive!!! This EVOO has a very bold and spicey flavor.

I use this in salad dressings and for dipping. It makes everything taste better!

I use it in so many things. It has never failed me. Superb product. Pricey, but so is everything else these days. Most things are not this good. You will not be disappointed.
