When our pricey icicle lights from the Big Box store failed again, we turned to these based on the ratings. They are the best lights we have ever used and are a breeze to install! They're light and the wires are thin so they go easily into the clips on the gutter. The remote works great and controls all of the strands at once (we linked three together). The colors are exactly as pictured and we love that there are different modes so our house can look different each night when we change the colors. Install tip: when you pull them out of the box, they'll seem tangled but they're not--just gently shake them up and down like you're shaking sand out of a blanket. They'll easily separate for you.

I have to say it was really difficult to untangle this in the beginning. I did it by myself and maybe it would have been easier with 2 people. Even though it was difficult, the lights did come very neatly tied together. I think it was difficult due to it being icicle lights and not just one strand straight. Once you have patience get you through untangling first few minutes, it was surprising that untangling it actually got easier towards the end. Lights are very good quality, I got the red and green for the christmas color, looks very festive and it really gives off happy holiday vibe. I am very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend.

I like the many modes and color changing ability of the lights. They can stay one color or change. They are very cool. Thing I don't like is using the remote. Not sure how to operate it. Even my grandson couldn't use it through the window to change the lights outside.

Bought this for the holiday season, installed and working great. Easy to use, good quality. Easy to untangled and sustaining heavy wind and rain. Highly recommended for outdoor lighting. Bright color.

Very nice and brightly lit, I would give 5 stars but I took patience and time to untangle straight from the box, hope these lights stand the test of time

We have had 4 sets of these for 4 years and all are still working well. Hard to untangle out of the original small box, but if you zig zag them on a piece of newspaper or wrapping paper when you take them down and roll each set up individually they will be easy to undo the next year. Remotes still working. Really nice effects for color and timing. Very pleased with this purchase!

I chose this company because of the product features (remote timer) as well as reviews detailing the excellent product support provided by the Ollny company itself. The lights themselves are fine. These lights should last multiple seasons. The remote control to time the lights however did not work at all. I attempted all the suggested fixes (change battery, remove plastic films on product) without success. The online customer support is an unmanned chat where they get back to you within 24 hours. I requested to speak to a live customer support, but was never contacted. In the instruction booklet is a phone number, which I called. When my call was answered, a man with a heavy accent offered me a $100 gift certificate if I signed up for some sort of discount card. I said I just wanted to speak to customer service. He said he needed my information first: name, address, email, phone #. Then he asked for my birthdate. When I said I "Just want customer service" again, he said I should give him my credit card number and then he would send me to customer service. I then realized that this was a scam to get my credit card information. What bothers me is that this is the number printed in the instruction booklet for the product. Please be on guard when dealing with this company & products. I have reported it to Amazon Fraud Department, but no one from the Ollny company has contacted me in response to my request.

I really like them, they seem longer then whats listed. Also the plug is the sensor for the remote which could be bad or good depending on your situation. The good news they power on without the remote so if your already using a remote power on/off set up you don't have to worry if you lose this particular remote. You would just lose the other lighting options. They do come with a extra long length for the plug so I was able to locate it where I could use the remote through my window. Great value would buy again. Don't be alarmed by the small box it comes in, its the correct length, its just shipped really compact
