Poor quality
These pipes were complete junk when you put them together and hammer them into the ground the threads just fall apart very cheap and weak steel .

5 Pipes, NOT 5 Packs of 5 Each
To clarify for anyone who questioned this in the same manner I did, this listing is for 5 pipes total, and not for 5 sets of 5 pipes each. The price gives this away more than anything else, as heavy duty galvanized steel pipe is legitimately this expensive and they're heavy/costly to ship.Used these in a self-drilled shallow water well application, and they've held up fantastically. No issues at all with bending or bowing when driving the pipes down, which is what you'd expect from cheaper offerings than this. Will likely get another couple sets to run a backup well line next year once we're on the tail end of this winter.

Use a sacrificial pipe for pounding.
Threads on 2 pipes looked at so far had slight damage, essentially cosmetic as couplings still worked. Used blue driving head on one of the pipes -- it stripped the thread after some hammering. Tip: need retighten head every few blows as the hammering loosen the driving head (and other pipes below). bought a 12-inch pipe from a hardware store to use as a sacrificial pipe. The threads on that stripped a bit also, even though tried to keep tight (sledge hammer not always hitting center part of issue). Can't really speak to pipe quality, as have not tried other brands for comparison.

Delivered separately
Be aware that this comes in 2 bundles. They came on separate days which made us think that some were missing. We ended up getting the whole order.

Exactly what I needed to attach to the well hand pump.
With the potential of rolling power outages, we felt it would be a good idea to be able to hand pump water out of the well if needed since we have an electric pump.

Not intended for pounding
Chose these pipes from the parts list on a YouTubers video about sand point wells. Not sure if they received better quality ones but the threads immediate rolled over like butter and I could not secure pipes together or keep them straight because of this. Returning them as they are not intended to be used this way as advertised
