Panasonic ES-RT37 Wet and Dry Rechargeable Electric 3-Blade Shaver for Men (100-240 V)

At it's price ,it's probably one of the best foil shavers in the world.Panasonic have been making shavers since the 1950s, and previously linked with Philips later going their own way with Panasonic making foil and Philips making rotary shavers.I previously bought a high end Panasonic shaver which has had its day. At several times the price of this model, it served me well for nearly 20 years with no problems, replacing blades and battery when required,however this new model gives exactly the same quality shave with outstanding results for a fraction of the price and whilst being slightly louder, the build quality and shave is really first class, being able to operate both in wet and dry options with a lion power source and fast charging, I can highly recommend this product.

I've had Panasonic, and Braun, shavers for decades. They are consistently good.I was looking for a lightweight, good option for travelling. This is significantly better than battery powered options, and also a little bit lighter.The cutting head is a little smaller than my "main" shaver, but that isn't a big deal at all, just need an extra few passes, and the quality of the shave is great.The only reason I have not given this 5 stars is that the battery only holds its charge for about a week. Not a problem if you charge it the day before a trip, but could be an issue if you don't have a cable.Update - I have bought a USB cable to facilitate charging from your phone / tablet charger and that works well.

Very good. Great, in fact, for the money. Battery lasts a long while. Shame it’s not USB rechargeable but everything else is good.

This is an extremely attractively priced electric shaver from one of the top makes - and it does shave well. The problem is the battery. I only use it to shave my top lip daily, which takes around 3-4 seconds. I have to recharge the shaver every seven days to get the less than 30 seconds shaving before the battery runs out of power. I have no idea how long the battery would last for a full shave each day. And this is not a one-off. My current shaver is a replacement from my original order - my brand new shaver wouldn't recharge at all - which Amazon very quickly replaced. I've used Panasonic's rechargeable shavers in the past and they've given sterling service, but this one is a stinker.

Firstly this is £29 which is a crazy price.If you are a guy over 50 then you'll remember buying electronics in the 80s /90s when Japan ruled the world in that regard, before the Asian cheap crap we get now!Well this shaver takes me back to the 80s, the quality is simply superb (which I expect from Panasonic), it fits the hand perfectly with rubberised sides that give perfect grip (wet or dry).My hair is black so it's really thick but this cut through like butter. The edge trimmer just slides and locks in place and trims perfectly, then slides and locks back in place (auto stopping the blades) perfect.Everything is solid and smooth, this is a quality product, the way it should be.Can't speak for the battery longevity, but it took a good 2 hours to fully charge out of the box, this is a good sign that the battery is taking a healthy charge.Be sure to lubricate the foil and side trimmer before you use it, I personally do this every time before using, it really does keep the blades in good condition and they will last longer.Ps you will need a 2 pin to UK plug adaptor, I get mine from pound l, no biggie.Seriously give this a try, £29 I feel like I've stolen it!Pps,,,, I've ordered another one!

Excellent shaver, not as close a shave as a razor but I cannot complain, I’m very happy with it, I had to purchase it because of an minor operation on my right hand and being a right handed shaver who uses a Razor I was unable to shave, so after a bit of research I picked this Panasonic ES-RT37 wet/Dry rechargeable shaver what a great shaver does a good job & easy to use with my left hand. Charges up quickly and it feels good in the hand. I definitely recommend this shaver

A razore is a razor is a razor. What is there to say. this one looks stylish. It comes with a twin foil head which cuts ones beard heairs adequastely. It also has a trimmer which you can flip up from the back, which will take out those difficult to reach, or longer, hairs, which the foil doesnt get. Nice to hole, though the plastic cover clumsily The other issue I have found is that the rechargeable battery does not have the longest opf lives. Although I use the razor very sparingly, as my facial hair is pretty minimal, I find that I am having to charge to razor up on average every second night. And, unlike some razors, where you can tell the power is running down as the functionality gets gradually slower, this one justs stops dead. whhich is unfortunate if you happen to in mid shave.
