works fine, wish it secured the outer 2mm sheath
I didn't have any issue with getting it to work, I did see some insertion loss, but it was less than 1 dbm and not a problem. I used the cleaver it came with, and my own strippers. The only downside, is that it only secures the 900um tight buffer of the fiber, not the 2 or 3mm outer jacket. It would have been a relatively simple matter to design this such that the outer jacket is captured and cinched down. The end result is rather delicate and should be contained in an enclosure, and not directly use it in a patch panel or the back of a server. Certainly one doesn't have to use an enclosure, but it's risky as exposed 900um buffer is usually protected against physical bumping.

Nice connectors for the money
I was not expecting allot considering the price point and I was pleasantly surprised. I used these successfully on a 300 foot run of 50/125 OM4 multimode fiber. I achieved low insertion loss and decent light pattern. The fiber could also be released and reworked if your first attempt is not successful. Proper prep is very important as usual.

Instructions are not too helpful, take some time to learn them before you install
The instructions are very sparse. The good news is these are re-usable so it you mess one up, you can always do it again. The big gotcha is that the stripped fiber needs to extend further into the connector body than you might think. You truly want to push it in until it stops, then a tiny but further until there is a slight arc in the fiber. At this point lock it down.

I would never use again.
This product has cost me time and money. Buying industry standard products from now on. Cheap for a reason.

Does not works with all cables
Can’t even say if its good or bad, the problem I had was that I couldn’t fit the coating in the connector.I was trying to fix “monster cable” made cable that get broke by cutting the broken part and setting new connector instead of premade. So, the problem that you can’t insert their cable into this connector, it’s maybe a couple of microns wider but it does not pass “2nd stop” of guiding plastic in the connector.Although I had exactly the same issue with connector of other maker , so I guess its more problem of monster cable being less standard , but still be aware that you can have this issue - this connector does not work with all cables around.Well , at least the cup fits 😉 on other maker I had a cup with hole not 0.9 but 125 micron, so had to strip extra inch+ of outer jacket in order to put it on cable and it made it also less reliable

Update: Works well once you figure it out, but instructions are conflicting.
There is a small one page instruction sheet, which is gibberish and conflicts with what's in the video. But ...Watch the video closely. The first tool (before the alcohol wipe) actually reduces the diameter of the fiber and roughs it up a bit. The second tool (orange) trims the fiber to the proper length.Once I got it figured out, every connector I assembled worked fine. On one connector I originally got a threshold alert from a cisco switch for low power on a 150' run, but after taking the connector apart and reassembling it -- carefully -- the alert went away. It's easier than I thought it would be ... AFTER I figured out how to do it. If the instructions were better I'd give it 5 stars. The seller is very responsive to questions here, too. And that helped.
