I have a '94 F150. When i push the button on my door, it locks and unlocks with an authoritative THONK! There's no ambiguity to it.When i push the button on my new remote fob, it makes a demure little ((whump)) which leaves me wondering if it accomplished the job or not.Thus far, it has done its locking and unlocking successfully, but feeling like i should double check kinda defeats the purpose. I suspect these cheesy little relays can't pass enough current to do the work with any degree of enthusiasm. If you have an older model vehicle you might want to spring for something with more beef to it.Edit: OK it failed at least once and that's all i need to pass judgement. It actually managed to lock the driver door but not the passenger door, which is a level of ambiguity that definitely defeats the purpose. I'm knocking off a star and i'm not sure it's even worth two of them. And of course it's the sort of thing that's a major hassle to return since it is wired into my truck behind kick panels.

It added power door locks to my truck that only had manual locks from the factory. works pretty good.
